A shame Spurs got a bit of late good fortune (again) but it's nice that Sturridge is scoring. The better he does the better the chance of him being a good replacement for Anelka or Drogba.

Ha ha that's the beauty of the Premier league though prinny, next week it'll probably be the other way around

What a game though! Could've been 5-4, Best had a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside. Barton and Nolan were immense after composing themselves after the initial shellshock. History aside for one minute, on form alone Barton has to be in consideration for an England spot.

From everything I've read and listened to today Nolan could have been sent off a couple of times. Sounds like Newcastle were very lucky there.

edit : There again it takes some massive effort to get the result they did so fair play to them. Also, as mentioned above a perfectly good goal disallowed.

You need a TV License for that. I could watch it not-live but MotD is the one thing that doesn't go on iPlayer afterwards!

In that case...Sopcast, man. For a live stream. Head over to myp2p. No TV licence needed! XD

That's not an option either, probably, I imagine that eats bandwidth and I'm on a 10GB a month cap

Good fortune is a lucky deflection in the last minute to score when you don't deserve it. What happened today was yet more of Spurs' never say die spirit and a brilliant goal worthy of winning any match

                    What a day of football!

So much for Man U's "invincibles"

Well, I'm watching MOTD, and have endured one nightmare. Just one more to go.

Hmph. We fold like a tired hooker's legs when an opponent goes hell for leather at us. We just have no answer to it, no spice to combat it, no plan B to swing the tide against an onslaught. That's why the Mags have done us over this year. They can draw on more intensity.

                        Gordon, what an arsehole.

Well, at the risk of fammydodd-esque sour grapes, the officials had a mare. Offsides and handballs all ower the shop.

Stoke's style is horrific on the eye, like watching that bird chucking game for 2 hours. But credit to them, they realised we are a bunch of indisciplined soft ****es, with a flapping keeper and a defence who couldn't mark a card nevermind a man, and they've used that gameplan to win.

How much did you pay for Craig Gordon back in the day?
He was diabolical from those highlights. Really, really piss poor.

You should sign Tommy Gunn - bring him out of retirement!!

Rising to 9 million. Flap The Expensive, as he is known in the SAFC royal court.

The game sounded terrible on the radio. To watch, it was excruciating.

I think from watching both matches, both our teams got a dodding from the officials yesterday.

Regarding Bolton, you'll find that Clattenburg was also the ref when we played Fulham almost exactly one year ago and he ruled out a Davies header for a push on than Hangeland, even though he was never anywhere near him.

DiMatteo skanked by West Brom. Placed on 'gardening leave'. Absolutely scandalous decision.
