He said that if Fulham fans don't like it they can go to hell. Or Chelsea. (His words, not mine...)

Steve Bruce...
GET OUT
A terrifying run of relegation battles coming up...
Birmingham v Sunderland Predicting a LOSS
Sunderland v Wigan
Sunderland v Fulham
Bolton v Sunderland Predicting a LOSS
Sunderland v Wolverhampton
West Ham v Sunderland Predicting a LOSS
That leaves 3 home games to get points from, with Wigan and Wolves fighting tooth and nail against a side terrified to take chances, looking like they've never seen each other before, and a Fat Mag slobbing on the touchline. WBA fought for every ball today, and looked hungry for a win. We looked complacent and without urgency. Seven shots to twelve tells a story in itself.
Last season we went 15 games without a win.
This run is 11 games so far.
A Bruce Recession really is something special.
?60 million to spend, this is HIS team. No excuses, it's unacceptable. A terrible, terrible manager, well and truly found out.

Maybe you should pay magboss a personal visit? How many other managers are allowed to lose 7 in 8 after spending a small fortune getting his own men in, without getting the boot? He's a lucky man in today's game.

I can take whuppings. Being relegated twice with lowest points totals is character strengthening. But those teams were simply ****, with triers way out of their depth.
The kick in the teeth with the Men of Bruce is that many of them aren't ****. Instead, this bunch barely try. There's no guts, no determination, no fire in their bellies and very little pride. The few that do seem terrified of taking risks and commiting to attack.
The manager is partly to blame by not inspiring them, or at the very least, having the presence to put a rocket up their arses. Someone on here mentioned before that we had too many couldn't-care-less loanees. That may be true. That's Bruce's fault too - these players know they can sod off back to their parent club at the end of the season. There's too many players in the squad with less at stake. Also, he shouldn't have created a situation whereby the spine of the team is fleeting and destined to hit the road no matter what happened this season. How could he have expected to build if half the team nashed off in May? Bruce is an enigma - he created a team full of short-term solutions, but failed to see the glaring short term crisis caused by not replacing a man who is still - tragically - our leading scorer this season, three months after leaving.
Bruce has no clue about the balance of a team. We have no width, and no attacking mentality in midfield. We have scored one goal from midfield all season. Utter toss.
