That's the most bizarre idea I've ever heard, where do you even begin coming up with an idea that mental?

Crackpot scheme which would make the whole competition pointless. The upside would be that I could get a game in the Prem and I'm totally hopeless at football.

EDIT - I would actually stop following the Prem if this happened. Not that it ever will.

Quite a few leagues in other countries, and also other sports, use this concept so it's not completely off-the-wall. Still an awful idea though.

This would effectively create an insulated league, similar to franchise-based sports in the US. If they want a damn franchise-based set-up they have to go the whole hog and have talent drafts, salary caps, and lower league teams would be farm teams/affiliates, like in the NHL.

They should just ban all football in England aside from Manchester City vs. Chelsea, and everyone should be forced to support one or the other. They'd play each other twice a week for eternity.

When the going gets tough you always know MagBoss will rally the troops. What a manager. What a man!

Impressive performance by Norwich against a very much on form Liverpool. They display resiliance and defiance, without the naivety of Blackpool's approach last season.

                  Grant Holt is aces!
Didn't watch it but it seems we rode our luck a fair few times. Not that I care - a point is a point and it's one I hoped for but didn't realistically expect.

Norwich seem to have the mix of quality going forward but much better defensive capabilities.

So many felt sorry for Blackpool last year but frankly as entertaining as they were they deserved to go down. Going gung-ho all of the time is just not a good idea.

Well, I think people felt sorry for Blackpool because in a league where playing negative football is almost a necessity due to the financial pressures at this level, it was refreshing to see a team play genuine positive football. Unfortunately, they are a classic example of a team peaking too early, and their inability to revert to effective negative football in those circumstances cost them their place. It wasn't their inability to win games later in the season that cost them, it was the degree to which they lost them.

Norwich, and to a lesser extent Swansea, don't seem to be falling into the same trap.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish believes Luis Suarez is not getting adequate protection from referees, following the Reds' 1-1 draw with Norwich.

For all the times he's gone down injured this season, I don't think another player's even got within ten yards of him have they?

                          Worth a repost.

I think Dalglish needs to have a word with Luis. His passion spills over the brim of his spectacular footballing skills a lot.

Sadly, it's that bit of this talented guy people are talking about. He's half the moaner, hand raiser, diver C.Ronaldo ever was in this league.

He is every bit as bad as Ronaldo was.
