Looked more like someone flinging themselves in front of the ball, and catching someone by accident to me.

      Hilarious for the neutrals

That guy in the middle of the second row looks like the love child of Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney.

What the hell is going on up in Manchester?

I could at least 7 people giving him the "v's" or the "wanker" sign.

            I really hate football sometimes.

Torres is still bubbling under and soon he is gonna explode into action, I'm convinced of it. Lou Macari has been quoted as saying Torres was never a 'great' striker. His time at Liverpool was pretty phenomenal. Do ex-players choose to be outrageous on purpose just to get some ego time or are they actually that stupid?

United are looking frighteningly imperious at the moment. No Vidic in the team and they seem to be sweeping everyone aside. Its only early in the season but the nature of their performances has been impressive. It'll be interesting to see how they react when they hit the blip that is bound to come.

I dislike that. This and hurling huge amounts of abuse/objects when taking corners. There's one thing giving a cheer when someone does a bad miss or sends the ball into the crowds but that is just an extreme lack of class.

As for Torres. I've lost patience, 4-5 big misses, 2 of which were 'how did he not score' one of which is a contender for miss of the season. He is doing the runs, he is putting the effort in but ultimately, he isn't scoring when he should. We easily had enough chances and possession to be worth a draw but ultimately didn't make the finishes.

Man U on the other hand have everything going right for them, three chances, 3 goals, two of which had large amounts of help from the linesman (and the offsides helped them get into the scoring positions too). They had a lot less luck in the second half with a couple of bad misses (although you could argue Rooney's penalty miss was justice).

Anyhow, Man U aren't invincible, they will get frustrated and have the '20 shots on goal' 1-1s and 1-0 losses against defensive sides and when other sides get moments of luck.

                In the interests of balance...

                *edit*

and in the interests of me being not bored at work, I made this:

I can't stand it. It's very very ugly.

Hardly the interest of balance. One cost ?50 million and has scored twice in 6 months. The other had nabbed 8 in 5 games in 4 weeks.

                    :P

One isn't being touted as the 'White Pele' though.

Never heard Rooney touted as that. In fact, most people seem to say he is fantastic but not up to the highest level of Ronaldo, Messi etc.

Your own manager (he wasn't the first person to say it either, it's been a cliche/phrase thrown around for a couple of years now).

It's too late now! You should've thought about that before I typoed 'your' instead of 'his'!

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini says injuries to key midfielders are causing him selection problems.
