Fletcher is knackered - again - and I can't see anyone else scoring! Our defence is abysmal - we're haemorrhaging goals. Once Suarez and Sturridge get in amongst the inept knackers at the back, you'll breeze it!

I hate predicting my own team's ineptitude and ****ness, but we've always been predictably predictable. Total **** from this bunch of gob****e no-hopers. 2 goals from the two guys I said, and it's still only the first half. Criminal defending, as also predicted.

If anyone hasn't yet seen them, please watch the goals Man United let in against West Brom. The first is an absolute delight.

It seems we are polarised in opinion so we will agree to disagree, Thatcher and the police eradicated 95% of the casual scene not SKY.
Having different views is fine . About Thatcher though she was elected at the end of the 70's and yet through out most of the 1980's was when the British hooliganism was at it finest and we were thrown out of Europe Ect. To me it was a combination of things but pivotal was Hillsborough; The Talor report and the formation of the Premier league .

Those really changed football, its image its fortunes made football a family game again and also got more women going to games (which I know some of the hardcore hate)

You dont see much of casual firms in the media as they are actively discouraged by the authorities so its not glamourised
It was never glamorised by the press anyway it was always a stick used to bash football and its supporters . These days SKY and the Premer league don't like that bad press so do all they can to make sure the games are mostly trouble free. Sure no game is trouble free, but there's fighting after the 6 nations games in most of Wales and yet that never gets reported - It still Football that as the bad image and piss take that is having Plastic glasses before a match in the Capital on Saturday

Newcastle's defending is abysmal but Lukaku is looking like such a beast, I can't believe Chelsea let him go on loan again. Everton are doing well right now. Early days but Martinez is doing a good job so far, I had my doubts about him after his time at Wigan.

I love seeing Newcastle get spanked....dunno why.

Everton seem like a different team this season, their loans have been great signings for the short term. Newcastle are having their normal away game, not winning against Hull has made it worse.

Thumbs up for Loftgroover! They're not as **** as we are but still pretty dire.

Quite sad really, the North East used to be a hot bed for football, all the teams are crap now. Also Newcastle and Sunderland don't even reflect the communities and area they play in anymore. Random unfinished Panini sticker books of average to poor foreign footballers.

Yeah its a shame . Its also quite ironic given Pardew used to moan about teams having too many foreign players

Maybe because the only thing happier to see than dejected Mancs is dejected Geordies...

Well they've not had a lot to smile about since Shearer retired!

I used to find mourinho entertaining and a breath of fresh air, but recent incidents and statements he's made since coming back to the premiership makes him look a proper di*k (although some would say he always was).

I even put the eye-gouging thing in spain to a lapse, but think i have flipped the other way now.

The guy is just an idiot

Yeah, It is fun. I think it's because their level of expectation is so high so when they get destroyed I just visualise loads of newcastle fans crying and ****.

Must admit also, I do lol a bit when Sunderland get beat now as I imagine the same thing with Prinny; maybe not crying, but defo honking his horn in traffic with a frustrated look on his face or shouting 'FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUCKKKKKK' out the window while going past a school or something.

I'm so used to the sensations of pain, disappointment, chronic underachievement and predictable ****ness that SAFC inspires, that an inevitable defeat these days only results in a moment of brief contempt and fury, which quickly dissipates. I can whip myself into a frenzy of cuss while posting about the arseholes, but genuine day-ruining instances brought about by terrible results and terrible performances are few and far between. Like a knackered old dog that has suffered a lifetime of agony and abuse, I'm almost numb to the kicks and punches of my cruel master.

The Mags, on the other hand, when denied the success that they deserve and have earnt, choose to chin horses instead.
