      will they honour these or will we get a charge later on? it says "limit 1 per account" on the terms.

      edit: im sure it must be legit as ive done this 4 times, logged back in and the offer has changed. I now get offerred ?14.99 for 4 months instead. why else would the offer change?

        Managed to get Gold until November. Cheers
        Also good if I don't have to phone to cancel any more.

          Did this. Rung them and guy on the phone said he will do this when he gets home. But they offered me 40% off 12 months which makes it ?23, so kept auto renewal on.

            Actually;
            This payment option cannot be removed at this time. Go to the Payment method information page to view services associated with this payment option.

              ???

              You can turn auto renewal off. But you can't remove the credit card details obviously until the Gold has expired.

                I'm getting that at the moment as well.

                It could just be because you've made a transaction so recently that it has to be 'confirmed' first.

                        Pretty sure that button never existed for UK users - you always had to phone up MS and have it disabled that way.

                          It existed. They got rid of it a year ago for some reason.

                            I know you can remove card from xbox.com now.
                            Hit xbox.com, sign in click on my xbox and goto accounts and click on manage payment options, you should have edit or remove card, click remove to remove the card details.
                            As for auto renew it was onsite but they have removed it again.

                              Apart from that tells me I have a payment method linked to an active service. Click here. I click here and there is no option to remove the card from the service. So I end up going in circles.
