Ahhh jeysus!
Apparently they won't let you remove the card if Auto Renewal is On, FFS MS sort this ****e out.
People have said if you call the 0800 number they will switch auto renewal off with no issues or fuss, from then you can cancel card.

My autorenewal is off though, but I think the CC must be attached to that account even though I am happily using prepaids. of course I did it on the original Xbox so there was no choice back then. I am wondering if I should let gold expire in a month then remove it. What a farce they need to get this **** sorted.

?1 for one month live is available again although it seems a bit random. Got 4 months on one account and none on another.

Edit: Changed payment to Paypal and extended it by 21 months

Just log into Live first.

Obviously you'll need to know your email address and password though.
