Serious Sam II (Xbox), ?5 in store at Asda.

My local Asda finally had a couple of copies of Ninja Gaiden Black on the shelf for ?9.97, while the original, also in Classics guise, was ?14.97.

Following on from the posts a couple of days ago I received this from Amazon today:

If it isn't an obvious error it doesn't matter what they say in their spiel does it? They have to honour the price.

No they don't. There have been major price hiccups in the past, they didn't honour those either (palm pcs for ?30, etc).

As Dock said, they don't have to honour the prices.

Amazon actually have a reasonable record of honouring prices though, I remember the Buffy DVD set with a price of ?80 was put up for preorder at ?30 and that was honoured.

I think that the fact that they even charge ?39.99 for the game is absurd in the 1st place!!

Its not that its going to be graphically superior to the xbox version is it, so why such a high price?
Look at Rockstars Table Tennis for example. They've managed to put it out for ?25.00 but not because its got poor graphics but probably because they think it might not sell well at full price.
I wouldnt pay more than the xbox price for Lego Star Wars 2. Just buy the xbox version if its cheaper.

Tenchu: Return From Darkness is currently ?2.99 in WH Smith. Superb game - an absolute bargain.

They've also got XB Doom 3 for ?5.99 and (ahem!) XB Fight Club for ?4.99.
