I seem to remember that they had the 360 & PS3 versions for £24:99 in GameStation on Friday too.

The PES half price offer ended today. A new offer starts tomorrow.

            That's a bloody relief...

Sometimes I'm really not sure if I've remembered something or if I've just made it up. I just go with the flow now and decide that if I like the thought, it's as good as true!

Ace, way too many games being bought tho, and I'm supposed to be saving

I saw it in sunny Romford Daragon, so guess so. It was No 10 in their weekly sales chart.

I'm pretty sure Eternal Sonata will be one of those games that'll be very heavily discounted come the January sales. I've got more than enough to play till then.

Now you're thinking like I do @ this time of the year!
You can pretty much guess which games will drop in the NY sale.

Other Jan Sales 360 games I'm also predicting are Tomb Raider Anniversary, Lost Planet, PE 08, Hour Of Victory, EA 07 games & movie tie-ins.

Pro Evo 08 is already being heavily discounted and it's been out less than a month!

Expect pretty much everything Sega release before Christmas to be discounted with the possible exception of Mario & Sonic.

Not sure if this is the right one of the two bargain threads to be posting this in, but it's too good to miss.

The Spiderman HD trilogy boxset on blu ray is down to a rather lovely ?30 in-store in HMV (well was in my local at least). Worth a look.

As for the games being mentioned as January sales, I think you're being a bit optimistic - New years sales (with video games at least) have been on the decline in recent years, I'm not seeing something like eternal sonata to drop to below £20 for example and that's even if it sees a discount.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is already down to £20 in-store in GAME, a discount even remotely worth bothering with and you'd be more or less giving it away.

Smackdown vs Raw 2008 is the half price game this week at Gamestation, for those who are interested.
£22.49 on 360, £24.99 on PS3, £19.99 on Wii and £14.99 on PS2. Worth a try cos if you don't like it you can always trade in at CEX, the 360 version trades in at £30 and PS3 version at £33
