99.99% sure you can't, unless Polyphony have said elsewhere you can, you couldn't with previous GT games.

Reason being all the GT3 car models/physics etc would have to be on the GT4 disc as memory card wouldn't be big enough to store all that info.

Nice idea but it's gonna be a no.

          Tiny facts

1)the default view used during rolling start is starting to become very annoying..as it flickers non stop on alot of courses

2)flickering is also another issue when opponent AI cars are 'rubbing' u...very strange. Don't know exactly what causes it cos I tried to duplicate it many times...unsucessful. But so far, they rub me..screen flickers...I rub em, no flicker. Sounds unfair, no? ^^

3)also very strange when AI crashes into me but I am the one that cops the time penalty....very annoying in the S class races.

4)Pop ups at certain tracks...nothing big but I thought was extremely noticeable in paris....lotsa teleporting spectators ^0^

Does it come on 2 DVD's like GT3, one Arcade and one Simulator disc?

Nope, 1 dual layer DVD9. GT3 came on one disc too, you're thinking of GT2 on PlayStation.

gamesmaster said there was a small free-roam where you can buy cars and parts, instead of menus, im taking this is not true.

Anyone got any impressions on the AI behaviour in a race? Is it as dumb as previous GTs or have they improved it such that you actually feel like your racing?

Its the clincher for me - with the lack of online support it needs to have decent AI for me to buy it.

Just got this morning with the big ish book that comes with it as well + a massive ?30 import tax + ?10 to UPS. (Warning book makes this game weigh alot u may be stung as well). Anyway, I went straight into Arcade and used a Skyline, seems like they have added more weight to the cars like GT3 so you can really feel it turning. To me GT4 now feels more like F335 challenge as braking seems to me, more necessary than in previous GTs. The sense of speed is slightly better than GT3 as well.

I have done the licenses b and bi which are annoying as i have done these so many times before, took me about 2 hrs or that's what it felt like. I raced and completed the Sunday cup in a Pontiac and the A.I i have to say seemed o.k with me being cut up once or twice but apparently the A.I gets better as was posted earlier at start of the thread. They still go in sort of a line but do barge each other a bit as well.

Sorry could not post more will try faster cars soon n see how the A.I fairs then.
