I'm on 27.4% at 439 days. I need to get my money up from cr331M to around cr800M by day 694 as lots of unpainted carbon fibre cars appear in the 2nd hand car lists then until day 701.

I'm a bit overwhelmed with events at the moment. I want to get my money up so I'm going to b-spec some more endurance races. What I really want to do is go through the manufacturer races. Mmmm, it's sooo big.

****, you ain't joking about the Special Condition Hall there, Fuddle. **** me the cars you win pwn. Even the first one won

I'm at about 10%. I spend too long tweaking the cars I've won rather than buying stuff

        impressive collection!

anyway, what i noticed is that none of the pics showed some decent effects of brake discs glowing at night! but instead there seems to be a lot of flames from the exhausts. strange, wasn't GT2 already featuring glowing brakes?

Can someone comment a bit more about the 'importing data from GT3, Concept and Prologue' thing?

Having (as I said) gone back to GT3 in the last two days, I see that I'm only about 27% done. Given my inability to get a single Gold in a license test yet, I doubt I'll ever get too far through it, either, but it's been fun on the FF-wheel (I've done "something" to my wheel and car setup, and now my Motorsport Elise/Exige is wonderful to drive at last).

What gets imported? Just money, or cars, too? Am I going to suffer horribly if I don't bring a load of pre-earned stuff to the GT4 party?

On another note, I noticed that I spent a good portion of my time doing Arcade Mode courses on GT3; is Arcade Mode as well fleshed out as before?

Money, up to 10,000,000 from GT3. You can import some of the licenses from GT4P although the exact ones I don't know; it's in the thread somewhere. I dunno if you get the cars you'd normally unlock completing the license tests though... e.g. Lupo, 270R, Nike One and some others I can't remember.

Arcade mode is also on par with GT3.

I went to stick the PS2 on B-Spec for the Endurance courses, but you need 25% to play

I'm up to 400M already, ps2 sat on my desk at work

Ta - I'll just not worry about the data importing factor, then. I've only got about 40,000cr in GT3 as cash, as the rest is in cars. License importing is going to be completely pointless, given my lack of even a single gold, let alone a free car's worth, and I don't have Prologue anyway, only GT3.

Glad to hear Arcade mode is ok, too.

Heh, nice. I put NOS (totally unnecessary like... ) on a Lancia... Gotta say, the 'gravity' physics are way better than any other GT game. Cars react nicely when bounced around a bit. Yes, I've been experimenting, heh.

                    edit: Proper Delta attached too

so, can anyone report if there's glowing brakes discs at night. that's best done with a decent pic

would be a shame if these cool realistic feature wouldn't be in the game!

I think it is in it, I remember seeing pictures of it before.

They don't glow in the day, not tried it at night. We tried getting a picture yesterday and were greeted with brake lights but no glowing discs. Unless it takes more than one lap to get them glowing now.

I'm not sure about the game, but having not enjoyed the previous games that much, that is no surprise. However, the photo mode is a lot of fun, and can easily wipe away a few hours of your time.

I am pretty happy with this pic http://www.pro-g.co.uk/media/screens/71/4/

Being able to plug a USB memory stick into the PS2 is also great.

got too excited when I got the Nike car only to find out that everyone got it, thought the game had messed up and given it my by accident.
