My Logitech GT Driving Force Pro steering wheel arrived yesterday. It really does make a massive difference to the game, you get so much more control. Can't recommend it enough.

Do they have force feedback?

Post and Packaging was I think ?7.99 and it arrived the next day. Very impressed with the service. I now have to figure the best way to anchor the thing so it doesn't move while I sit on the sofa.

I had that problem for ages with my (non-Pro) Driving Force.

In the end, sitting at the dinner table (which it can be clamped to), playing on my 15" LCD was actually more fun than on the 32" widescreen with surround, but having to fight with a wheel that won't stay still.

I have a small table (largest from a nest of 3) that is the perfect height. I may see if I can use a board to keep it down by putting the board over the spar and wedging the board under the sofa.

Is Sony gonna release a Playstation2 pack in Europe with Gran Turismo 4?

My Playstation2 (first model that was launched in Europe) is giving me the dreadfull Disc Read Error, and i was thinking of buying a new one.

I just didn't decide yet if i buy one now or wait for the pack, if it will be released?

If your confident in opening your ps2 all you need to do is ajust the voltage on the disk drive, theres 2 little screws under the CD/DVD unit one for the voltage or reading CD's and one for the voltage for DVD's, i forget which is which now but if you google it theres loads of diagrams. Even if you keep it for a spare its work keeping as its such a easy fix.

I just hope my old PS2 is going to be OK with the PAL Version. I think it is a V4 machine. I have a flip top on it so cleaning the lens would not be a problem.

Right, that's it. Just finished a race round the ring in the Ford GT (the one on the cover), using the GT Force wheel. This wheel transforms the game completely, it may as well be GT5. I think I was putting in worse lap times to begin with, but now I can make the really awkward corners with ease and it all feels a lot easier. The game seems a lot more relaxed, probably because you're using your feet and hands for separate things your brain doesn't have to do so much work, (compared to using hands for all).

On laminate or lino floors grippy-rubber sheeting is required as the pedal unit slips a bit. You can buy it anywhere, (it's like a tight bubbly netting made of rubber).

I play on carpet. I really must use the wheel more. It ought to make it easier to control the amount of steering.

Received mine today whohoo ! Ignored the option to transfer my GT3/Prologue data, instead choosing to do those lovely license tests myself. Man, I just had fun watching my replays, going for silver (gold seems managable on some and impossible on other courses ), admiring the tracks and navigating the menus. Can't wait to find out what the real game is like, heh.

Oh and that Nurburgring is pretty wicked indeed. Racing that track with a big HP car is surely gonna give some 'in the zone' moments.
