I think GT feels realistic. The wheel makes it a completely different game. Get a DFP or go the whole hog and get the g25, played gt hd today with the g25. Awesome! Especially when you turn the traction control, power assist off, use manual gears, fit lower grip tyres, use simulation setting, etc... Takes a few laps to get used to the grip levels, but I've just DLd the demo at home and I'm aiming to put in some decent Ferrari laps right now!!

OMG! I'm speechless, (luckily I'm typing). Just put in a decent couple of laps with the MX-5, and so decided to watch the replay. The way the car leans into corners, the way it dives under braking... It shows how harsh you are with a pad too, not hooked the DFP up yet. Every time I braked the car dove forwards violently, like a car making an emergency stop. This is the kind of thing you can improve easier with pedals. I got tentative ranking of 531 too, which would be good if it's worldwide, I dunno though.
Right, now to unlock all the cars...

I'd ignore the tentative ranking to be honest. I've pulled them in lower positions than that but when I check the rankings my real ranking is about 234,4567,3476 or something!!!

The ranking seemed to stay the same, but looking at the time from the top, I was a good 8 seconds off. So we're basically looking at gold-licensing each corner as we all know how some single corner tests seemed impossible until you put a decent number of attempts in. In a single corner test you could easily shave a second off, so a full lap has lots of chance for gain.
