The 'How do I get this Bad boy set-up' issue is evident in most cases!! I have a nice solid table with the wheel attached and it works pretty well.

When my mum figures out it is one of her 3 piece coffee table set I may need to rethink my approach

How much did it cost you to make it all then? I certainly need something to attatch the wheel to and don't have any tables high enough I can use...

Oh wait, perfect idea!! An ironing board!!!!

      Would that work?

I wondered about using an ironing board to keep my table steady!

I want the driving force pro for ?30 not ?100.

apart from the 900 degree turning...is there any other difference between the
Driving Force and the Driving force Pro?

I know the DFP looks prettier.

No, that's the old GT-FORCE wheel.

The newer version has a gearstick.

                      I usually use Automatic anyway.

Man, that is a monster... looks class with the gearstick

Am using the Logitech Force Feedback (Came in a pack with GT3, best 100 bucks of my life back in 2002), tight steering, not the full 900 degree madness. Great analogue control and vibration!! Gear shift is behind the wheel like in F1 cars, retails at around 30 bucks but think it is quite hard to find.

My mate got one from CA games for 25 bucks Rossco, it is perfect!!

The one at Savastore is the Logitech GT Force. It's basically the same as my Logitech Driving Force, but without the additional joypad and face buttons at 10:30 and 1:30 that I have.

The difference between these two wheels and the Driving Force Pro (other than the extra turning that can do) is that the DFP has a seperate shifter to the right of the wheel, rather than flappy paddles. Since even the UK model has the shifter in the position for a left-hand drive car, I'm happy to stick with what I have.
