Then it hit me, an obscure crappy Ps1 game Excalibur had the same cockney voice and said the same kinda lines (I Think), he appeared in some stupid places

Just started playing this one on sunday, I should change my username to 'Johnny come lately'.

What a game! Just got to the bit where

and had to quit because it was 2AM, but it's sooo good!

My only gripe is i'm not kicking enough heads off, I know you are meant to shoot them in the legs and run up to them, but I just haven't quite got it down yet. And only just worked out what the

do, had them hanging around in my case taking up space, Doh!

I bought RE 4 Friday. I just finished it last night. I really liked it.

The Village was perfect?some of the best atmosphere ever. It felt like Resident Evil without the crappy controls and camera angles.

The Castle was long. It was still fun, but it wasn't creepy. It marked the end of serious horror and the beginning of serious ham. It's as if the last two-thirds of the game was written by a different author.

The Island was dorky, aside from the

, the few creepy labs, and the fight with Krauser. The rest was straight out of a bad b-rate action flick. It was so hammy it was endearing.

Like I said, I really liked the whole game and had lot of fun with it. But it felt disjointed between the Village and the other two areas.

I'm looking forward to making a second run with the upgraded weapons and playing the Merceneries game.

Edit: I forgot to mention how well done the escort stuff is. I never imagined it possible. Ashley actively stays out of the way, and she is so easy to keep out of trouble. I didn't shoot her once.

. . . OK, just I did once. But that was on purpose.

my only real problem with resi evil 4 is the controls while they are far better than before when you do things like turning 90 degrees or even the 180 degree spin it still feels like it takes far to long
