Resident Evil 4 is over produced, they really didnt to go that far. Playing the game you can see why it took so many years to make, I keep trying to figure out how they put all together. Its obvious they was a huge & error process getting the game to what it is now. The amount of effort put into into every set-piece is staggering. I just wonder how are they ever going to top it. Mikami finally has his masterpiece.

I thought it was just a set of steps leading down into it..... Turn left towards the waterfall and walk along the path, then down.

Did anyone else bother with the mine gun? That thing is incredibly useful. I love taking out those fat, armoured barbarians with it especially!

yeh i have found the steps but there is a banister in the way blocking the steps which seems very strange, and i cant jump them

so you've found the waterfall with the treasure in, gone past that, then got rid of the 5 barrels, ran to the end of the road and thru the door (then watch the maze cut scene), then right to the very end of the next bit of path and the stairs down on your left?

i killed the monk with the big mini gun, then i opened the door, i then went past the halway with the birds in it, then i went to the fountain which had some treasure and some birds on it, i then carried onto the left, i went into teh room and met ada, than saved my game, i go to the balcony above the maze but it is blcoked off where the stairs are that lead into the maze. which is on the left,

I never tried the mine gun on my first two runs through. (I was too busy trying to max out everything else) Is it worth getting even when you have the chicago typewriter?

I don't remember there being any problem gaining access to the maze when I did it, have only played through once mind and don't remember exactly. Sorry. You've reloaded your save I guess? Checked Gamefaq's as a last resort?

Does anyone know what the golden egg does when used as a weapon? I was surprised to see equip as an option when I selected it!

Sorry if it's been talked about before but I was avoiding this thread until I had the time to finally complete it. This is the first game I've ever gone straight back into for a second run through though

So it seems you don't need to go down to the maze again as you technically should already have been there. Of course I could just be wrong...

Caned this on US release and haven't played too much for a while but due to a visit from a mate over the weekend really got into Mercanaries, i'm 3 stages away from 5 star-ing the lot...can someone remind me what you get for full five stars with each character?

BTW my mate is xbox through & through (to the point he'll hardly play on anything else!) but i think RE4 may have made him recondsider!!!

Very good point Shuzo! That's absolutely right. The maze only contains 2 halfs of the moonstone to open the door.

Ah well, you really didn't want to see what's inside the maze anyway. Woof!

i havent been in the maze, i have now just gone to the cage fight and im at the ashly bit now, this is very strange, oh well
