Okay, I have a quick question:
When you do the Ada mission, is there a way to play it with her in her red dress? I started it, and it didn't give me any options, and all of a sudden she's in her special costume (which is a sort of Starrs type costume).

Well, I d/loaded the Consolevania RE special and then ran out to buy this game today. Thought I'd then check out what you guys had to say about it and noticed the 174 page topic?!? That's going to take some reading, but it serves me right for being so far behind with my gaming at the moment. Oh well, time to get the GC fired up....

Sorry to be totally off topic, but I d/loaded the Consolevania file and it wont run on my pc. What do I need to run it?

4-1, the flame room bit. I have no idea how to get past the dragon head right at the end, with the two bits of cover either side to it. I have no rifle rounds left, and I can't seem to chuck any grenades round the back. Help plskthx

I believe you're ****ed then... I use the rifle on him after baiting him into the right position to show his ugly head...

I'm glad they didnt just stick in a "boss rush". Although, there werent that many moments that could be described as "bosses".Just huge baddies.

Moodmon - You can easily get rid of the dragons with just the pistol.

first off, kill the guys walking about in the lava room, they start to spawn from a little window in the middle of the room, once you have killed a few, they stop spawning .
Then you gotta lure the dragons over to you position and when they get close, you run over to a position with a good vantage point and one shot with the pistol will kill the pilot. sorry if this isn't as helpful as it could be, but with a bit of practice you will find
it very easy. oh yeh you gotta kill at the dragon pilots in the room.

when you get to the part you are stuck run to the left and hand side and look at it, the guy will be protected by the dragons head

when it starts to shoot fire (you do have a wee delay) run to the middle and the guy will be right in front of you, just up weapon and hit him once and he will fall off and then you get a wee clip of the dragons head falling into the lava and stairs appearing in the middle, there arnt many guys who respawn and it can be done in a matter of seconds so you dont have to worry about any monks trying to attack you from behind

Second play through now on Pro, and I am having trouble with the

boss d00d around where the N02 canisters are. First time through I nailed him on the second canister, this time he just will not not drop. Someone told me he'll die from one magnum shot to the hand, but this clearly isn't true. I am pumping in Lv20 magnum bullets into him, and then loads of shotgun shells and hes not dying! Ahh!

are you shooting him when he's not frozen? If so, it'll never work. He HAS to be frozen when you shoot him. That's the only time he's vulnerable.

Yeah hes all blue and frost-like.. The monkey just ain't going down this time..lol..Don't think I can run from him for four minutes :d I could just buy a rocket launcher I suppose..

This 1 shot in the hand thing must be balls..

i know on my second play thru on easy it took 6 magnum shots to kill him and that was the fully exclusive magnum, so i guess on PRO is will take alot more

Yeah, I only had 5 Magnum shots. I just bought the rocket launcher and ended the journey for him

I think that's the one boss I'd unquestionably buy the RL for. Nightmare, otherwise.

OMG, in Professional mode..

. The basic regenerators have a leech in their back too, like the ultra hard spikey versions.. Not good! I grabbed the thermal scope and expected him to fall after three shots.. Can't beat the one in the freezer compartment at the moment! They do some serious, serious damage to you too when the ****er bites down on your neck. Eek-o-rama.

Not having much luck running past him and turning around, seemed to work ok in Normal difficulty.
