you need to try and run past 2 until you come to a freezer type room matey

thats all i'm telling you

you can kill them with a normal pistol but its all guesswork 'where you hit them'

the shot gun is most effective (until the freezer room), but dont take out their legs as i reckon they are more dangerous without them

I'm having to use an helluva lot of ammo on those grey mother****ers in the lab area (I assume these are the "regenerators" that people have been referring to). Is there a weapon that's particularly effective against them, or is it better just to try and avoid them and save ammo?

snipe the red things off there body with the infa red scope!

which allows you to see the parasites on them. All you have to do is

kill the parasite and then regenerators die too

I cant for the life of me remember where you supposed to pick it up from though. . . .it comes a little later after the first regenerator I think. . . . .

It's in a small off-room in one of the lab areas. Hard to describe. It's very white in colour!

there is a room you cant get into (cyro lab) the card you take from the dead mans body (before the regenerator) opens the door, when you walk into the cyro room you have to re encode the card to get the garbage disposal (locked cell) to work and in that room is a switch which opens a wee freezer and inside is a thermal scope - attach it to your rifle and voila you will be able to see the parasites that have attached to the mosters body

watch out thou, some have them on their back which you can destroy from the front but again its all guess work so why not cap his leg so he falls and you can see the sneaky blighter on the regenerators back

The knights with the girl fooked me up, even on the 2nd time round Had my Killer 7 ready with Leon screaming 'Come on u fukkers' and they were taking more than one shot , I was nearly sweating pints man!

The knights with the girl fooked me up, even on the 2nd time round Had my Killer 7 ready with Leon screaming 'Come on u fukkers' and they were taking more than one shot , I was nearly sweating pints man!

with the knights just aim for the head to knock the helmet off, when you have done all 3 and you have those ugly spider/razor thingeys - throw a flash grenade, its like napalm to them kills them instantly

Woah, woah, woah. I've just killed Krauser. In some ways, I think that (so far, of course) he's the real pinnacle of the bosses. I mean, first there's the

knife fight

which is pretty orgasmic as cut-scenes go. But the real fight is great - a mixture of QTEs, traditional "killing the **** out of the boss"... and the usual running around looking for stuff! Superbly tense. And then there's all his grabs which you have to

the bit where the fight goes into slow motion and you have to chain QTEs like never before

. That bit was jawdropping. Until, of course, the third phase of the boss fight. I really was quite surprised by just *how*

Anyhow, I'm into the next bit, but it's a little tricky. Homeward bound. Feel bad for selling my Broken Butterfly, but there's no contest with the Killer7 unless you've EX'd the BB. Gun I most regret buying is the Striker - I'm sure a stacked-up Riot Gun would be as useful.

Just reading that makes me want to play it again...just to re-play the Krauser fight. I remember how awesome it was at the time...those QTEs in the fight were just so much fun. And I still think the CG knife fight is one of the most impressive set pieces in the game

wait until you see the cut scene of the helicopter taking everybody out, it wouldnt look out of place in a hollywood blockbuster
