Cracking last few levels. I thought 5-1 was overly long and a bit samey, but it really pulls some fancy stuff out the bag after that. Though I was hording so many full heals that I could have got hit around 20 times by the end boss and still have a 1st aid spray or two.

In fact, I think I may just go play through the whole thing again, killing every mofo who gets in me way. For those interested:

I?ve finally finished this masterpiece. I loved it from start to finish. This is the first Resident Evil game I?ve played for more than ten minutes. All I can say is wow. It?s up there with my favourite games of all time. Had a quick blast on mercenaries, which looks like a lot of replay fun. RE4 would get full marks from me.

Now to finish the final boss on Paper Mario and try and get into and finish Metroid Prime Echoes before Killer 7 & Brian Lara?s cricket come along.

What can I say that hasn't been said already. Great game. Love the weapons - the carnage - truly cinematic atmosphere throughout (so far). I just made my way upto the sea monster thing........and got my ass kicked.

To the end of chapter 2-2 now.......that is INTENSE when they are invading the house.......thank god for the TMP and flash grenades.

Gotta give it a rest, I don't wanna make it a real short game by playing so much........I estimate I may be around 1/4 of the way thru? Lots still to come!

Definitely enjoying it. Just gotten past the part where you have to travel down the in the ski-type box and pick off all the axe-throwers. That's a tough ass challenge with no rifle but got there eventually.

It's actually a piece of piss if you use the TMP, since it only takes one bullet to make them fall to their doom!

Yeah, one bullet from anything immediately makes them fall; I found it a piece of piss with whatever handgun I had at that point (Punisher? Maybe Blacktail).

Yeah the first one's went down like flies, it was just once one gets you you're off track completely and they're coming from all angles.

Anyway, just made it past the blind prison git who reminded me of Baraka. I thought I may try and sneak (since he's blind) but he kept slashing me so I just punked his ass. Might leave it now for more tommorow - spread the joy out.........6 hours 30 I think so far.

Just finished chapter 3-2 I think, where you complete the garden section. Great stuff so far

Finally got 'round to playing this yesterday. It's fantastic! I do miss the zombies though, but those enraged villagers fill in for them nicely, and are more than a bit unsettling.
I only had a quick blast on it last night, and got as far as the village. Fun stuff. I'll have to grab the other GC Resi games soon.

Awesome game. Anybody read the Zelda article in Edge yet? Resi's mentioned as being a great game by the new director/producer. Odd for a Nintendo employee to praise anything, let alone something with guns. Anyway back to work for me. One more night to go after this and then I can open my birthday pressies. First time in years I haven't had something game related. Getting a Dunlop Crybaby and Tech21 Double Drive. Well ok, I had Forza aswell but I opened that a few days early
