Best I could muster was an "A" on DMD Mission 1. Granted I wasn't giving it the time it requires but was quite pleased with that. An SS rank aint that far off.
SS on mission 2 is a killer though, not so much the boss, but the wave of enemies, especially when they get there purple aura making them tougher. Will check out vid when get home, must be some sweet sweet killing Venom.Comment

Lots of Enemy Step especially in mission 2. Not just for dealing damage but also for repositioning. DMD enemies don't stop attacking so you have to attack and retreat. An Enemy Step off of Cerberus' Revolver is perfect for doing this.Comment

Easily. Without doubt my best game of the year and quite possibly of all time. Dont know how many times I blew up on my first play through. The standard of games so far this year has been exceptional (Resi 4, MGS3, etc) so for DMC3 to rank higher than them really does tell you something...Originally posted by eastyy

It's certainly one of my favourite games of the year. Between this, Resi 4, MGS3, and God Of War (and Killer 7 soon) I've been spoiled rotten by the games industry this year
