Xbox Taito legends, Ps2 Taito Memories and Xbox mame.

I've only got one power lead for both consoles, so I can't run them side by side, by to my mind, it looks like the bubbles on the first level move in the same way. Best to get it tomorrow, it's less than ?20 and if you can't handle that it might not be right, then you can just exchange it.

haha you think I'll be able to spot the difference?

My post was more understanding why those dedicated few have complaints, rather than my own personal concerns. I've played a good share of Bubble Bobble in my time but sadly I have neither the insight nor dedication to have really seen all it has to offer (unlike those people who have an almost zen-like understanding of it all).

I'm sure I'll pick it up (and this thread has also reminded me I still have Taito Memories Vo.2 to grab as well) and will be blissfully ignorant of whether the bubble's behaviour is wrong

I've got the PAL PS2 version on the way from play.com (?14.99). I only want it for Rainbow Islands.

I received mine from play.com today - tried NZS, Bubble Bobble and Rastan on my PS2. It's cool!

              Does this support lightgun?
edit: ah, apparently not. Oh well, neither does my LCD TV.

Yep, there's 60hz, screen resizing options, and the option to keep the original pixel aspect ratio.

Nah, they're saying that sound effects are wrong, and that the bubbles (in bubble bobble at east) move completely differently to the arcade version...

The PAL version IS ****. It doesn't even support an arcade stick.

so can you confirm that bubble boble and that are wrong. They seemed fine to me...

Hell, I don't know them well enough to tell if a bubble is popping at the wrong time or whatever. They seemed fine, but I find the lack of arcade stick support more unacceptable than any minor differences they may have.

Plus you can't edit the controls, plus it's on a blue CD-ROM that spins constantly...

                                Big disappointment IMO.
