From what others have said there doesn't appear to be much text/speaking anyway so its not an issue. I'll let you know for sure when my japanese copy arrives later this week.

Colossus uses its own dialect anyway, though I'm fairly certain that like ICO before it, there isn't an English language menu option.Comment

Watched the NICO disc today. It was very interesting to see Ico running on PlayStation, in its very early form. Levels, enemies and the two main characters were all different. It evolved a lot into the game we know and love.
Same with Project Nico and how it evolved into SotC. Very cool DVD, with a lovely stills gallery, and lots of media to watch.Comment

Got past number six last night and really into the rhythm of the game now. The way you have to ride out to each battle make the whole process feel so epic, especially given the anticipation of what you're going to find at your destination. The soundtrack is getting under my skin too ... love the way it kicks in during fights. On the subject of fights, a special mention must go out to number five.
SOTC has taken a little longer to reveal its qualities than Ico did, but now it's fully clicked I can't imagine a better final result. Can't wait to be back out there, exploring the land, riding towards the next colossus.Comment

A sony representative let slip during Eurogamer's interview with Kenji Kaido and Fumito Ueda that ICO will probably be packaged together with Colossus on its European release. It wouldn't surprise me either if some of the footage on the Nico disc finds itself also part of a limited edition European version - I can certainly see some of these movies making their way to the PAL release if as Ueda hinted, the wait may be worth a little more in doing so.Originally posted by hellbelly
If that's the case, you could be looking at an Colossus/ICO package and some unseen footage of both games' development, along (and this was hinted) at new boxart. As you know, that would make the PAL rekeases of Colossus very desirable and the best out of the territories. Apart from the representative comment, this is speculation of course, but I can envisage some of the material on the Nico disc turning up in another release outside of Japan at a future point in time (hopefully).

I checked Otaku's site but the box set wasn't mentioned. I'm interested in it.
