Gonna try and see if I can get a decent game in today, as the lag is seriousley awful in this game.

Mate make sure PC is switched off - I think people underestimate the impact this can have (I've got 10mb it's plenty of bandwidth that type of thing) !

Christ that would be why I can never counter kicks, i just assumed back/up/down and counter counted medium kicks and punches, didn't even think of using foward for some reason.

The sparring mode is your friend Myth - particularly I recommend doing the "exercise" option for each character - no better way to learn them & also learn what moves are common across all/most fighters.

If you're playing fellow UKers, your 1 meg line will be fine.

I'm only on 256k upload and i've been in plenty of lag-free 8 player matches, it's all about playing at the right time with the right people.
