Quick reload is in from Bio 4
Knife attack is in from Bio 4 (which doesn't take inventory space up)
    180 turn from Bio Nemesis
Auto Aim from Bio 2/Bio 1 Directors Cut

Touch screen inventory management is handy too.

Tis kool Akira, jus **** me up as i had peeps buzzin' around me. Am i right in assuming thatthere are basically two games in one? One being an exact carbon copy of the original biohazard and the other being a first person game? Or am i totally wrong? Im jus confused as to where the new material and puzzles occur. Is it like Biohazard Remake where certain puzzles were expanded upon?

However, there are many, many more zombies, dogs and crows to attack, and you kill them either by playing in the standard 3rd person fixed camera viewpoint, or - where the game controls it - in the new touchscreen controlled 1st person mode.

The game will switch to 1st person, and you swipe your finger or stylus across the screen to attack with your knife. It works really well too; much better than knife attacks from the original game. After enemies die they will drop an item, such as ammo or herbs. The game is much more geared towards combat in this mode, with Jill at least starting with more ammo, and more health etc. I have also been able to open doors which were previously locked requiring specific keys in the Classic Mode.

There are new puzzles to complete too, and so far they have consisted of using the touch screen to match up colours on a device which unlocks a chest which in turn gives you typically a red herb.

Enjoyable stuff so far for sure. If the game supports single cart play, I will try out wifi tomorrow at work and report back.

Keep the info coming dc-arena. Looks like I'll be ordering this from vg+ very soon!

Quick question, how many save slots are there?

By that I mean can 2 people play and have different saves?

There are 6 seperate save slots for the game, and both Classic and Rebirth share them.

So 2 people could play the game, one playing as Chris and the other as Jill?

two peeps at the same time? and being able to see and hurt each other, as well as zombies? For some strange reason i am getting vague recollections of Goldeneye and the perculiar kneeling movement when the person is crouching and moving.

Wasn't there a movie somewhere showing it in multiplayer mode where you see your other participants as a large coloured star?

I am answering the question about save games. Just to clarify:

                      - There are 6 save slots
                      - You can have one game going with Jill Valentine and save your game
                      - You can have one game going with Chris Redfield (seperate game/story) and save your game

There are 6 save slots and as far as I am aware you could have 4 seperate games of Jill Valentine and 2 seperate games of Chris Redfield if you wanted to. It's like the PlayStation version so they are seperate games, and you can't see each other (as its a single player game).

However, there is a wifi mode with co-op play. I have not tried this out yet.

Completed the Classic Mode with Jill Valentine. Got a completion time of just over 4hrs which aint bad with all the messing around and visiting every room etc. I finished with the good ending, with Barry and Chris there on the chopper Hee hee! Game did seem easier than before (the first Tyrant battle taking only 3 or 4 hits from the grenade rounds to drop him), but then I do know it inside out.

For completion you of course get the costume key, but you also unlock

characters for the wi-fi mode which is a nice touch.

I'll start a Rebirth Mode off tomorrow, looking forward to it already.

What's the atmosphere like. I mean is it scary? (If a resi game can be classed as such!)
I always worried that a Resi game would loose something when played on a small screen.

Hmm well I guess it doesn't help that I have played it 50 billion times before, and the original games lighting and texturing is rather unscary compared to the ultra dark Biohazard Rebirth on GC. But it still made me jump when Hunters came at you, and the dogs are still arrghhh **** run!! moments. So yeah, works well I think, esp in a darkroom with headphones

Worth a buy then? I have remake but the thought of playing Biohazard on the move seems ace.
