Dunno about anyone else, but I've never played any DMC game since 1. I just enjoy reading about the insane levels of technical mastery people have reached. In fact, it's put me off getting it, as I know I'll never reach the dizzy heights of a true master.Comment

For those wondering about saves, it might not be such a bad idea to play through the game again. I was trying to locate a save, as my DMC3 data is PAL, but I couldn't so started playing through. I could only muster a B grade on the first level and Cerberus suddenly seemed unbeatable. I'm getting into my groove again though......Comment

yeah, i cant wait to start playing through with Dante again, once I have unlocked DMD mode with Vergil. I'll prolly start with Dante again on normal and try mastering all the bosses with RG, which will only make it easier on harder difficulties. Even so, the entire first play through is seemlingly impossible, since you have no moves, which is what makes it so fun since you experience the whole RPG aspect of the game: lvling up styles and obtaining weapons, the secret missions, more health, DT, and its something you really only get to do once, since in the later Difficulties you REALLY need that stuff, unless of course you have uber skillsOriginally posted by themanwithapc

prolly should add this in, Vergil's 3rd costume, Corrupt Vergil, the one that transforms into Nero Angelo when you DT, is available after beating hard mode, which gives new moves and animations to all his moves for each weapon, and he looks freaking sick. Will post a vid ltr 2nite. Beating hard also unlocks Very Hard and DMD

alright everyone, thx to Venom, I was able to post this vid at a diff site, so should be much easier this time. I was experimenting with some new file formats, so the quality isnt as good as the last one, but I did manage to cover all of Nero Angelo's moves, and even raped the Hell Vangaurd on Very Hard lvl 2. Enjoy.

yeah man, they're wicked, i love the animations to, with the Blue energy radiating from his attacks.
