Well i'm running on an average pc with pretty high settings.
    Athalon 2500+
    1gb
    Radeon x800 pro
    not exactly ninja :P

If your pc can handle it i'd personally plump for the pc version just for the mods (i know they're releasing some on 360 but if you check out the message boards there's already a fair few mods coming out, one changes the emperor into picard :P

Busted - This game is so absorbing, I've actually been sucked into the game

Noob question alert - just came out of the serwers and into the dungeon virtually opposite, is there only one way in and out of the dungeon, I defeated the magician at the end and found myself back at the beginning.

This game is just INSANELY addictive/immersive. I told myself to stop playing for a little while but then you find a new storyline unfold in some random town I've bumped into... Absolutely jawdropping. Eurogamer have given it 10/10... i think i'm starting to think the same thing,

I just played one hell of an awesome side quest in the Imperial Waterfront area, and the only way to initiate it is to do something very specific. For those interested:

Imperial City Waterfront, go to the floating tavern and stay the night. Won't spoil the rest for you.

Well my 360 version didn't turn up, so got the PC version, which seems to run fairly well with my x800 card.

I'm a couple of hours in now, and the thing that strikes you straight away is the vastness of the game. There's so much to do and explore that getting to the first quest point seems like a secondary consideration.

I've been reading many of the books scattered about the place, as with Morrowind, it's amazing that these are interesting to read, and give much history of the world. It's very easy just to ignore stuff like this, but reading some books can increase your skills, so it's worth doing even if you don't actually read the text. The text can be interesting too mind.

No issues with loading, or with trees changing shape when you turn around 180 degrees, so I've no idea where that one came from as claimed. The texture pop-in is a bit weird, but it's not that distracting.

I can forsee many many hours being plowed into this.

                      First impressions: Impressed.

It's the red arrow I should be aiming towards right?

Bloody great game though, extremely emmersive, finding it quite overwhelming at the mo'

Yeah, the red arrow points to the main quest.

As an example of the depth of the books. When you reach the first quest point, there's a book on the table in the chapel that is an biography of Uriel Septim, it's 16 pages long, and charts the history of his life. Stuff like this is great to imerse you in the world.

It is a bit of a shame that the windows inside always look like it's daytime outside. I'm sure it wouldn't have been too much to give them some transparancy, even if you couldn't see much outside. It's no biggy though.

                            I REALLY need some help.

The chorrol castle. Has anybody spoken to the countess about the painting investigation quest? I'm completely lost as to what clues I should be looking for. I've already found a hidden painting in the west tower, and found hidden painting supplies in Chanel's quarters, what else should I be looking for?

Give me a couple hours and I'll tell you. Just starting the same damn quest!

Just climbed my first mountain (and we're talking thousands of feet up) to watch dawn arrive and examine the town I'd come from below develop into a small dot miles away.

                                Oh. My. God.
