Finally, achieved Grand Champion in the Arena and the final fight was ridiculously easy given a quest I had carried out previously... was a realshame cause was really looking forward to an epic battle, but suppose the one before it was epic enough... cant wait to take part in the other fights that they are gonna line up for me, they sound amazing

I just got myself some Ebony armour and sword and it looks awesome, over 50 hours in now and still have barely done any of the main quest (I closed the first Oblivion gate), I've also hardly done any guild stuff either, quests just keep popping up out of nowhere.

Yeh i have to admit that final fight was a bit of a disapointment i was really psyched up for a epic battle. Two blasts from my lightning staff he was dead.

Is he more difficult if you do not do his quest?

Nah, he's just as easy if you don't bother doing his quest, except that he moves.

I became a vampire last night. The altar wouldn't heal me beforehand because I'm too evil. Damnit!

You get the location by finding a book called Necromancers Moon, located in the mage uni.
Thanks for the info mate. The marker is at a place called

              "Dark Fissure"

I waited all night, but nothing happens. Any idea what im doing wrong?

Won't a cure disease potion do the trick? (before you have fully turned that is...)

                  Need some help...

I'm in a Mages Guild quest called something like "Information For A Price", and that vampire count dude has told me to empty a cave of vampires and kill the vampire hunters if I want to get the info he has for me. I've emptied the cave, but I can't find any way to get the vampire hunters to leave town. I really don't want to kill them, I'm playing a rather nice character who'd never do such a thing. Is there any way to get through this quest without killing them?

I'm role-playing my character so much I even killed the Assassin's Guild Representative when he visited me at night, following my "slaying of an innocent" (that orc in the final Arena bit).

                    i just killed them

I did look for a peaceful solution first

I gave them the tip off about the vampire cave i would have assumed that would have done it but no luck though i wonder if its a bug?

                      Well...

I tipped them off as well, they went to the cave and helped me a kill a few vampires. One of them died I think, so that leaves me with 3. Only one engages in conversation, and there's nothing new to say to him. There has to be a way, unless as you say it's a bug.

                        Thats strange

after i tipped them off i went to the vampire cave and they did not appear there at all in the end i just killed them all when they split up to there watch points

Maybe I should have tipped them off, left the vamps to kill them, then go to the cave myself to mop-up. Strange they didn't go to the cave when you told them.

Hopefully someone will be able to shed new light on to this, less my character is forced to do "it".

                            Thats what I did,

I tipped them off they all started walking (slowly) toward the cave. I waited until they arrived and went it one by one. There was loads of Vamps in there and soon I got a message saying they were all dead, So i killed the Vampires

Alas too late for me now...

I've waited over a week in the town, hoping they'd get the message the vamps were dead and **** off, but no luck
