Don't think that you can link the PAL and NTSC versions - I'm pretty sure it won't play ball. Do you have a memory card / memory stick in? It's required for the link up.

Otherwise, you go to the license screen on both machines and pick the USB Link on each. It should lock out the PSP controls till you finish transferring licenses etc.

The only other thing I can think is if you are on a different regions firmware - othewise it's pretty bulletproof.

          haha...you crack me up!

Anyway, still playing the PSP version to death, in fact it's not left my PSP since I bought it. The PSP has no shortage of good racing games (Ridge Racers and Wipeout in particular), but this is something else. The weird thing is, the full console version doesn't hold my attention for long, but for some reason I can't leave the handheld version alone! They're the same bloody game!

Sorry for asking the same question again and again, but: Do you already know the definite system requirements? (Also: Widescreen resolutions supported?)

                    Outrun

Im a bit dissapointed with the PSP version because after you play the console version you realise how slow it really is. On top of that there's never anyone online!

I'm with you buddy - Just picked it up this weekend hoping it would save the PSP for me and I was gutted by the framerate - Apparently it's better if you play in-car but for me that distills the essence of Outrun.....

Not a bad effort but I wish they'd compromised a bit more on the detail to keep the fps up - The main car model looks like it's packing a lotta polys.

it's the only PSP game I own, and boy what a PSP game it is ^_^ I know it's got a poor frame rate compared to the 60fps rock solid of the PS2 and Xbox versions, but it's outrun in my pocket! It still retains the feeling of outrun and I think Sumo deserve mucho credit for that. I'm glad no more detail was compromised, it already looks very basic compared with the other versions.

Agreed SOL and his boys deserve a lot of credit for getting the game to work on the PSP this well my fave PSP game thus far.

I played this today on the train (had training in town so left the car) - It's totally OR2 in your pocket but that framerate REALLY hurts it.

Not annoyed at SOL & Crew - The work is sterling but those sony ****wits who won't let me overclock to 333 now that I'm not on 1.5 are absolute arseholes - You just KNOW it'll run butter smooth at 333.

The undulating framerate doesn't bother me that much as the drops don't seem as noticeable on the small LCD screen than they would on a large CRT TV. Wouldn't mind trying it at 333 though. These SUMO chaps are on fire when it comes to the PSP, so what's next SOL?

I see I am being summoned...

Just finished Race Driver 2006 - and updated version of RD2 PSP, but it's only getting a stateside release (has a load of new stuff including 4 Player GameShare).

We're busy doing Broken Sword 4 on PC, I think it's common knowledge we're working on Virtua Tennis 3 too. We've also got quite a fair number of unannouced projects in the works too. Our Website is being a tad more lively these days, so might be worth keeping an eye on.
