Think i'll wait for that then. I do have a US PS2 but unless Guitar Hero 2 isn't out here this year then i don't think i'll ever get round to unpacking it anyway.

I waited for the USA release of this so I could fully apreciate every aspect of this wonderful game. And a wonderful game it is. It's unparralled in terms of artistic height, Beautiful is so small a word to describe how INCEDIBLE this game looks and sounds. I've only played 2 hours of the game but I have so far been completley intoxicated with the games asthetics. And It doesn't look like it ends on a superficial level, need to play it more but its looking like this game could be a Zelda beater IMO.
Capcom. For. Teh. Mother****ing. Win!

Only little niggle i have is i sometimes experience I small frame skip when running across wide areas. I assume its just loading in the next area but its a *little annoying. The game is so good i just want it to be PERFECT!
Technically it is pretty amazing thoughMaybe it's cuz my PS2 is 4 years old

I got to have a little play on Saturday since I was in a friend's shop with half an hour free and...27 minutes later the opening scenes had finished. That was a good taster for when my copy arrives (hopefully) tomorrow...
Does anyone who has it and is playing on an LCD TV know what difference the intriguing LCD setting in the option actually does and whether or not it's worth using?

I've acquired the
Cherry Bomb
ability, which isn't quite useful in battle as I'd hoped. I'm loving the use of the Celestial Brush mechanic in combat though, mix n' matching the different techniques.
This game is an absolute joy to play, one of those games where you look forward to firing up the PS2 hardware just to steal another moment from this game. The Zelda blueprint is obvious undoubtedly and Okami certainly isn't Zelda's lesser, more it's equal IMO.
First this, then God Hand. I can't wait to see what Clover come up with in the next-gen, mind you, on the evidence of Okami why rush ourselves?

ive been playing it for 14hrs and i have to say, one of the most polished and beautiful games ive played this year. so much humor, charm and love went into this game. could be game of the year for me.
cherry bomb
is incredibly useful in battle. im drawing them all the time to help out getting rid of enemies quick, sometimes im killing three off at once because of it. I mix alot of different brush techniques in my battles, makes the game more fun to play.

You guys digging the
Viewtiful Joe reference when the fella pulls his moves.
I ****ing loved that. Had a huge smile on my face.
I think I'm gonna hold out for the PAL if Jan 7 is correct. I've had my fill of the JPN copy, and as eager as I am to play the game through in english, I've got enough stuff to buy/play at the mo.
Defo agree on the Zelda beater comments. Clover have got it down!!!11
It's this as GOTY from the last gen machines so far for me, with Dead Rising in the current gen.
And can someone confirm if the manual is b&w. If so, that's horrible/criminal. The JPN book is a work of art in it's own right.

I just started playing this game on Friday and I am loving it! I thought it would be good but it has totally exceeded my expectations I must say. It looks beautiful and I think it plays very easily too, one of the reasons I keep going back to it.
The characters are pretty cool too, I love the aspect of humour they've put in there, I think it really works. When I play it I am reminded of zelda quite a bit - its the whole going around fields, helping people in towns, dungeons and bosses thing - which isn't a bad! In fact I think it's been too long since I played a good 'adventure' game like this.
This is me for now -
