Apparently it is, I've been advised to source the Sniper Rifle from the Gun Shop and take out the Gunner first and foremost, then the other two convicts. Use the car, but destroy it when your done because the convicts respawn otherwise.

I've given up on the story missions now, and am just playing through the rest of the days levelling up Frank. Rescuing hostages is tough though, due to their retarded AI and the insane number of zombies.

Actually is there a book or skill that can be used to make weapons last longer before they break?

Nah, this is how I did it.

used the car to ram into theirs, doing this kills the passenger. Your car will now take a beating and get destroyed. This is good though, the wreck acts as a good block and allows you to shoot the gunner. Once done I nicked the huge gun and killed the driver. Jumped into the hummer and got an accomplishment for it

Well that's act 2 ruined for me. 2 bosses one after the other and some **** straight outta Metal Gear Solid. No thanks.

Was a little overwhelmed with it to begin with, but I'm slowly gettin' to grips with it all.

Two things of note that I wasn't fond of -

Kent kept accidentally kicking me in the head while he was attacking zombies and I was trying to get some decent shots.

And the size of the text is ridiculously small. I'll need glasses by the end of the game (and I'm playing on a 32'' LCD! I was gonna use my 15'' TFT via vga. Looks like that's out of the question).

I haven't had a problem with that at all on my 20" W/S LCD monitor, but then, I don't really sit that far back from it.

Maybe you do just need glasses.

I can only comment on the demo, but the size is small but no smaller than other games. I have a 32" LCD on the wall and sit about 2 or 2.5 metres away from it...
