Looking at the options open to me, all the ways I can go would seem to lead me into the convicts - so should I just run past them?

When trying to takedown the convicts, kill the rear gunner first preferbly from distance, make the idiot driver crash into trees and other immovable obstacles, kill his passenger and then him, take the jeep for a spin, oh and don't forget to examine the rear of the jeep.

Top one for that NS! Your enthusiasm for replaying has rubbed off somewhat on me hehe. Quick question; What did you find the best method of getting the Bowling achievement?

I collected some bowling balls from the scond floor in sportrance in paradise plaza, usually late on in the game when there are more zombies in the area. Just bowled away, observing for when I get pp awarded for the kill, it seems that it is the pp award that is counted and not the number of zombies you see get knocked down, even if they stay dead. So it may take quite a few goes before you get the award.

This is also true for the karate champ acheivement, I killed 1300+ bearhanded, but probably only 1000 counted as true pp scoring kills, not the incidental kills.

I still have 22 acheivemnets to get, but I haven't played the game through for about a week now, this thread has me raring to go again.

Once you get the Jeep, take it down the tunnels for that all important zombie kill count. And while your down there pick up the maintenance key. I wouldn't step out of the vehicle if your only on a low level though. It gould get grim.

WOW !

I didn't get on that much with the demo - hoped the full game with objectives would sort it and it hasn't half - What an insane amount of fun I've had so far on this.

BUT - that thing with the saves is a goddam ****ing nightmare - I must've redone the first bit I don't know 3 maybe 4 times. But it was fun every time

With the save system then you have to restart but you keep the characters stats then ?

Yeah if you get to like level 6, then balls everything up, you can restart, but still be at level 6 or whatever. Judging from the save system they've used I imagine that the game is meant to be played this way, with frequent restarts and such like.

As a side note the game reminds me of Gauntlet, the original one obv.

Some of the weapons are sublime - I love getting a metal pole and just unleashing in the middle of 10-15 zombies

The Football is also worthy of mention - I've had a lot of fun with that.

Biggest problem at the moment for me is

those ****ing bastards in the jeep out in the park - effectively they've cut me off coz getting survivors back to the security room is proving a nightmare !!!

Yes you can always go for some of the acheivements in this scenario.

yeah that's what I did. It's so much easier the second time around with a powered up Frank.
