Seems a lot of people are playing this hoping it clicks but I've heard so many "this game pisses me right off" comments it's not true.
    So true mate.

I stuck it on late on Saturday night, switched it off after a couple games. The button lag that occurs during LIVE play is a game-breaker for me at the minute, since you can't do **** all apart from damage limitation or hope that your opponent is very, very crap at the game.

    Cheers Mardigan

I'll give this a go. Managed to sign Ribary and Senderos at the end of 2nd season - so now made 2 signings!

I'm at the end of my first season and halfway through the negotiation window and not been able to bring in a single player. Maybe my 360 hates me.

Everything is on normal, so I've no idea what I'm doing wrong. An tips?
If you struggling with singings bring the league setting down a notch to loosen the negotiations, just to get you started. Its really down to experience with the ML transfers as you start to get a feel for what will work.

Turn auto save off, try lots of transfers to see what works, go to next week then instead of continuing re-load your save and try different transfers. I didnt this to get some negotiation practice but it aint cheating as you still have to pay ay X amount for the top players and. Just rubbish wasting your negotiation windows wehn you initially have no idea what is expected. Think of it as Negotiation training juse rinse and repeat this to get a feel for how negotiations should go!!

Also, look at the "Players interest" stat by pressing right on the left stick when viewing player in a player search window. This is indicated by 3 stars, with 0 meaning they have no interest in coming to you and 3 meaning they ould love it. Use this to gauge who will accept offers and who will reject.

My days of Castolo and Ximenes are gone sadly, I tend to start with Sociedad's starting line-up - then flog the rubbish.

Ah cool. Thats the way i usually do it to be honest, although i might start with the rubbish players this time seeing as you can apparently use your master league online if you do it this way (and im not talking about the default Spurs team!)

I'm sure I'll make a start on ML once I've made some headway on Double Agent.

I came second in league and won the D2 cup so that got me good points for transfer, plus I sold a lot of players that weren't in my plans and got bonus points for havin top scorer and assister in the cup. Walcott and Rosicky were free transfers so only had to pay wages for tehm but Torres cost me a cool 11,000 plus wages but he is def worth it, gonna be a cracker. Spending that took me right to the wire with money, think I had 800 points left at start of season once team wages came off so was really tight and need to do well this season to keep the team going but with the quality I have brought in I think it will be ok.

Couldn't believe Walcott and Rosicky were on free transfers but didnt waste any time grabbin them. Hleb was also available on a free but he is too alike Rosicky, Ribery and Schweinsteiger so thought best to leave him... shoudl have grabbed him then sold him now I think about it but too late now.

Its gonna be a great season... Torres for Top goalscorer I think!!

    Pwnage !

Funnily last night in my master league my defender slid to block a shot, the attacked fiented then another defender knocked him off his feet but the ref in his wisdom decided it was the already booked defender who slid that brought him down, que second yellow and much abuse at the 360, The reply clearly showed he didn't touch him. I was enraged but at the same time applauded the ref for bringing out the same abuse I shout when watching real football and the ref makes a cataclysmic blunder.

    Ace

    Edit, stupid qwerty keyboard

Ever tried not diving into a tackle in the middle of the pitch, maybe you should have backed off and kept your shape or just pressured the guy on the ball using the a button.

    Well, that`s it!

Took PES6 back to GameStation and got a credit not to put towards a game that I`ll enjoy instead of making want to bludgeon my 360 to death.

I really enjoyed the game at the begining but, the more I played the more of the usual PES bull**** started to creep in and the more pissed off and angry I got.

Last night was the final straw. Yet another game addled with the usual bollocks. Performed a slide tackle in midfield, cursor changed and the defender was on his arse, opponant ran onto to score. A nothing tackle in midfield resulting in a red card. Defender brought down opponant in the penalty area and got sent off eventhough no buttons pressed. 18 shots at goal resulting in no goals, 6 shots by opponant resulting in 4 goals, the list goes on and on.

When the match was over I messaged my opponant to thank him for showing me the light and I put the disc in its box to await trade in.

I haven`t enjoyed playing a football game since Match Day on the Spectrum or maybe posibly the early FIFA`s on the Megadrive. I can appreciate how difficult it must be to recreate a sport in a game and make it as close to real life as posible, especially one that is as fast paced and technical as football but, PES is just full of nonsence.

If you don`t mind getting so frustrated you want to use the game disc as a frisbee then PES6 is for you, other than that goto JJB Sports, buy a football and play for real.
