Patch sees to have improved things online...or maybe I am just getting used to it.

Have to say though that I am getting bored of playing people who go 1-0 up and then foul me everytime i get in their half...Ah, what a joy this game is.

3; I'm using Man U alot. My general play style is passing with interplay with the front 3 (Usually play a 4-3-3). Are any teams out and out better or are the top teams all comparable ?? I see Barca are alot of players fav's.
I tend not to use the right stick all that often. Ive never, ever been a fan of it as i just dont think it feels intuitive enough. Best way to get quick hard passess down is to position your player so that he'l hit the ball with his stronger foot and dont try to be to clever. Simpler is better .
Heading is tough in pes6 but the double tap B cross is your friend. If your player gets under the ball then the chances of hitting the target are slim so try a last minute headed pass across the face of goal instead. Like passing its all about how your players body is positioned. Keep an eye on your radar and if you see a player steaming into the box aim for him as opposed to a player already stationed in the box whose lost momemtum and may have to step back to take the header. To aid this use the Counter Attack strategy throughout the game. Take the ball down the wings on a break and rifle the ball into the box with a double tap B cross.
Im a master league man myself so cant help much on the last point. Just remember power is the key and physical frame also plays its part (e.g Peter crouch).

It's a much better online experience for the patch and good to hear they've taken care of them cheating basts as well (I never play ranked so wouldn't know !)

    Yeah .
Though I wouldnt say there was no incentive to play at the highest level. For me the incentive is to be a good player and to beat the AI at its best. The desire, for myself, is to be better. Though if your after Gamerscore points then theres really no reason at all to push yourself.
Personally i lament the loss of the 6* difficulty level.

Was the point of the post not that there is no extra incentive to play at max difficulty, as the rewards are the same on any level?

Still despite the odd small niggle im enjoying pes6 more than any other game in the series. Its brutal and tough and thats the way i like it. Hows evryone doing in Master League? If your after a cheap striker who has power and pace buy King from Watfort. His stats also increase dramatically in a short space of time.

I've noticed the difference from the patch too. Its far smoother and you can control the power of shots again. I've also been getting "quick matches" quickly. Rather than one very ten minutes.

I think it may have stopped people cheating in live matches, I had a guy try but it didn't work and I beat him...made it all the sweeter.

So there's a patch out... what does it do exactly?

I disagree, I played huge amounts of it before the patch, and now that the patch is out it honestly doesn't feel any different to me. Perhaps it's my connection though.

First half was totally one sided to Barca and how it wasn't 3-0 or 4-0 I just don't know. 2nd half and Smith comes on to brighten the strike force. I lose the first goal but claim back a deflected beauty. 3 mins later and I swear the SWEETEST passing moves ends in a walk in goal. 2-1. First game, first win.
Worth the cost of the game already !!!
You turned this on at the right time man... the live has been VERY poor since launch but a game saving update came out earlier in the week and sorted all the live issues giving us the silky smooth live gameplay we deserve.

Live is just going to get better and better for this now I think.

Unfortunately I think you're right about cheating Jebus. I don't know how it's done specifically, but i've been a victim of it on 3 or 4 occasions. Eventually just giving up and letting them have the cheap win, thus leaving me with disconnects to my record.

I worked my ass off to get my 100 ranked wins so it left a sour taste in my mouth. Whatever helps them sleep at night though.
