A coach cant tutor a player it has to be player to player and if Sno becomes half the football player / porn star lover Gravesen is he will be doing well

i seen on player search professionals are tutoring other players, how can you do this?
You can only tutor young players. Go to someone who is a young player, ie youth team or a young first teamer, I think it's under 18...and you can go to player interaction on the player, and down the bottom you can tell them who you want them to be tutored by.

It can work well and sometimes poorly, I've had one success and one failure. The failure resulted in the young player saying he felt he was learning nothing, so I just changed to a more apt player.

The biggest thing for me is that at first it looked like some players were nowhere near the quality they should have been but their stats seem to have sorted themselves out now we are into the season and stuff.
Don't get me wrong - I don't expect every club to have a huge budget, but that seems unrealistically small for a club the size of Celtic.

            I'll still get it though.

It is small considering the size of the club but Celtic has had low transfer budgets for last few versions, and have the players to still make a good account this season. Game is def harder than previous versions but for the better as it forces you to really get in about the detail and lose yourself in the game.

The budgets are pretty realistic though. Without a large cash injection, none of the clubs in Scotland will have much money to spend on fees as the money just simply isn't there from TV & advertising that you could get in the Premiership. That's why a good run in Europe is now essential if you're going to have extra cash for the following season.

First criticism and I know its a minor one, but I hate those cheesy FM logos on all the dialogue boxes.

It's the only game I've ever lost days to myself. Sometimes I just lose track of time, and suddenly its night time and I'm confused...why is she giving me the cold shoulder...oh...right.

                          fm2006/7

is it only me or does it take ages to play a season, i take nearly 10 hours to play one season, sifting through hundreds of potential wayne rooneys or the next thierry henry. how much gameplay does it take to get to 2050, i have played a lot since last october when fm2006 came out and i have only reached 2014??

I'm not enjoying this as much as I thought you know. I was absolutely addicted to FM06, but possibly because I hadn't played a good management sim for a while. I do subscribe to the idea that if it ain't broke, don't fix it...but...well this new version seems TOO hard.

I also don't buy that there is any real skill to it. You can play a match an lose, restart the game and try EXACTLY the same tactics/formations etc and you could win or draw, which makes the games completely random and really removes the fun.

I found it rather funny though that I lose 4-0 to Arsenal in a 4-4-2 formation, then for a laugh reloaded and tried a 3-5-2 and won 3-0...this is away from home.

I don't like the fact that as Bolton I start with a budget of 0.3 million, which means I have to play a FULL season and win ****loads to get any budget for the next season, or...resort to the editor which I only did with FM06 after I'd played 3/4 seasons and decided to see how fun it could be to have a kitty of ?300 million.

I dunno, I just don't feel this as much...can't put my finger on it. It certainly seems a LOT harder this time round.

The fun of trying to find startlets isn't there for me either, it just takes an age and you end up spending more time sitting staring at loading screens where it tells you results you couldn't care less about...

Its been a long time since Champ Man 01/02 so I decided to take the plunge today and bought FM07. Its early days but so far I'm very impressed.

I took the easy option and started with Arsenal, ?20 million transfer budget with which ?9 million was spent on Micah Richards though he got injured on his debut (broken leg - 5 months ) aside from that I was happy with my squad so made no further signings.

Beat Standard Liege 3-0 over 2 legs to qualify for the Champions league proper which was a relief. Best moment so far was beating Man USA 2-0 away, lost 3-2 to Middlesborough in the next game though.

It is like crack though isn't it?

Its almost 4am, whats going on? Just aswell that I haven't got work tomorrow.

A lot of people are saying this version plays too hard, but after seven games with my Albion side in League One, I'm top with 18 points, having won the first six before capitulating at second place Nottingham Forest. We were tipped at a distant 20-1 for promotion, and I've only signed a couple of players (who aren't even featuring much), but I have paid a lot of attention to tweaking training and tactics.

It has been reported that the frequence of inuries is too high, which does seem to be the case; barely a week goes by without one or two players needing (often quite lengthy) treatment.

Still, even out of the box with it's inevitable flaws, this is the most fun I've had with an SI game since CM 01/02. 07 positively whips along compared to the last few incarnations, with very few 'sticky moments' and isn't patently bugged to fug like some of them.

No doubt it requires myriad tweaks (the injuries issue being the most obvious), but notice that despite SI's patch 'denial' there is an update function on the main menu screen.
