I like the way that the "Doc" achievement is "Revive 10 of your teammates in a ranked match without getting a teamkill" That used to get on my nerves no end in BF2:MC - people killing you just so they could revive you! Hurrah!

Ok, so I'm noticing that when you're in the vehicles theres a fair bit of slow down from time to time - nothing chronic - its just there. Also, for whatever reason, in multiplayer when you're driving a vehicle, there's no engine noise? wtf?

Have done the first proper mission, and it does indeed impress with so much crazy stuff going on...but the same rules as CoD2 apply. It's easy to get sucked into lengthy gun fights as you try and push the enemy back, but at the end of the day they'll only stop coming when you dash forward to the next marker.

The first level basically goes through every single thing in the franchise within about five minutes, loads of different objects (tackled linear in this mission) and at a break-neck speed.

Looks as if it is built up from the CoD2 engine, so the graphics are nice and clean but there is far greater scope.

There is something about the game that is 'wrong' in my eyes, more so than from the last game, but I can't put a finger on it...

I have neither read the review nor finished the game but I promise that they have got it wrong in that review. A 6.5 for this is totally wrong

I've played through four missions now and it's one of the most enjoyable FPS games I've ever played. Not just this year, but ever. It's so much fun, it's original (but not gimmicky), and it's an amazing experience. I had a brief go online and it seemed excellent

I would go with that they had the engine built for them and added little bar unskippable cut scenes and arcaded up the action

Playing it on Hard and on level 2 when you get to the part that you need to progress up the hill just after the

I cant do it, just keep dying, so much fire directed at me, I cant move up the hill!!

I'm on that part on Veteran and it's totally nails. I can get half way up the right side, then some unseen enemy always guns me down.

I've tried about 50 times and I just can't do it . Might have to drop back down to hard on this one.

Rossco I've done that bit on Hard - Smoke grenades as you come round the corner into the open, head right and keep using smokes and crawl to avoid being shot by the boys spraying the mounted guns. Took me more than a few shots but was worth it in the end.

6.5 for this is mental stupid - It's absolutely amazing. I thought I knew what to expect - I was way short. The online is absolutely sublime just as I hoped what a laugh we just had jumping about in the vehicles, airstriking and generally taking the piss

I'll be playing this online for a while I reckon !
