It was all going so well, but I spent 3 hours on this bugger last night, upset the wife and still didn't get to the end boss!
Wait until you get to
the ice level
- the only dungeon I haven't really enjoyed so far.

Instead of the chicken army coming to kick yo' ass, you start controlling the chicken. No idea what thats about.
Getting closer to finding all hearts/golden bugs/poes now. Still adoring the experience, best game since Metroid Prime 2 for me.

I knuckled down and finally finished this game off. Took me 34 hours or so in all, with 64.716333333333% completion
I absolutely loved it. It was definitely on the easy side, but it's been a long time since I've finished such a long and satisfying game. And for a Zelda game this one came dangerously close to having a good ending.
Right now I'm watching the credits with all the locations I've been to, and it just reminds me of how beautiful the game was. Graphically it really transcended all this guff about resolutions but looking at everything just makes me wish it was in 720p

Best repeat since...
I think it's gonna be one of those titles that stays with me. You know the ones? The memory of them belies the fun you actually had whilst playing them. Is it the excitement beforehand or the spectacle of the product? For me it's the atmosphere of a title that gives me these memories. Like thinking back to a time when you were really into a band and had some wild times listening to them... that kind of thing. Killer 7, Mario 64, Goldeneye, SoTC and titles like them. Perhaps these are the ones that are more artistic or have a certain wonder about their environment that captures me on a deeper level than the actual gameplay. Who knows. Twilight Princess my Game of the Year though? Sadly not. And it's upsetting to say such a thing for an old timer like me. So here's hoping that Mario is the groundbreaking title I've come to expect from Nintendo

Just started playing this last night, but had next to no timeBasically just played the first five minutes up until the point where you can save for the first time, curse real life!
Ahem, anyways, still getting used to the control method. Feels a little like an n64 pad that has been chopped in two doesn't it?

79.5 for me. Some of the challenges I havent bothered with. 61 hours approx.
Just tried the
snowboarding challenge. He's easy but she's a bitch! Will probably attempt the challenge in the desert at some point. Like most of the game I doubt it'll be a challenge as such, I'll just need full stocks of everything.
The one minigame that I won't complete will be in the fishing cabin. My hands aren't very steady so any games that use the controller like that will be a no-no for meLast edited by iloveannie; 26-01-2007, 10:40.
