Eileen is a good starting point, Aoi as well. Jacky is a favoured fighter. Thing is, you'll know which one you will feel happiest with pretty quickly, if that makes sense.

I would be if I hadn't sold it I've been having no problem at all with the pad tbh (d-pad not analogue stick - using analogue in something that requires digital input seems a bit mental to me)

The Sega stick is under consideration - This game is never getting sold on so it'll be worth it.

If we can assume that VF4:Evo is the best fighter ever (the academic community approve of this theorum) and VF5 is = or > than VF4:Evo, it stands to common sense it's the best ever.

I haven't had it for a day though I've been playing it since I got my PS3 - I already evangelised that version and said it was a shame more people hadn't championed it as it was (still is) the best thing on the console.

Online is just the icing on the cake - DOA4 was a good game elevated to greatness via online - this is an absolute work of art so online propels it stratospheric.

I'm sure if anyone disagrees they'll let me know.

I'm no authority on fighters, I was merely suggesting that it was a broad statement to make, when so much of gaming comes down to personal preference, just look at the debates that go in first play threads like Orange box.

Had it for 8 months now myself and I'd definitely agree with Yoshi's stance here. But "best ever" is always down to personal preference and I just assume that everyone always knows that.

Except where Super Mario World is involved, but there you go.
