I don't quite understand some of the other ones either..."Defeat all opponents at <insert name> arcade"...I don't get that...they just keep coming, I was up to 12 wins without losing and they still kept coming...

Awesome games with bleeders, ripped a random to shreds 5-0 and then had some TIGHT matches with Akira.

Best fighting game on any system ever - no exceptions.

AM#2 just re-affirmed their Godlike status all over again.

I just don't know they've done it, but it's mind blowing.

As I say, the biggest compliment you can give to an online match is that it's like playing against someone in the same room, it's that good.

Does it have a lobby (DOA) where people can spectate whilst waiting for a match?

There's a VF.TV option where you can watch stuff, but I don't think you can spectate, though I'm not certain as when I was playing it there was only 20 people in the rankings! I know what you're referring to but no, it's not like DOA at all.

It's a very basic setup online but you'd forgive anything for the quality of the matches.

Visually, they're pretty damn identical. 360 one might be less jaggy, but that might even be down the Component/VGA being marginally softer, or maybe the scaling - the point is it's that close that you could factor anything into it.

The online is the point, of course

Is anyone playing it with the stick or are you all using the normal 360 pad?

Normal 360 pad here.

I literally go between stick and d-pad between rounds...I just can't decide.

The stick feels more comfortable because the d-pad isn't too hot, but precision wise I feel the d-pad is where it's at.

So was everyone else as crap as me when they first got this? Took about 10 attempts each to get the last few fighters down on Arcade mode. But then again, I'm using a pad and I'm average at fighters anyway!

Looking forward to some online matches later on. Do many people actually have this?
