Some of the games tonight were so close and when everybody is laughing as much as we were tonight you know you've struck gaming gold.

The Red/Blue thing is wierd but I think the enemy are ALWAYS red regardless ?? Could be wrong.

Chucking explosive barrels in the man-blaster is ace !

It's good it's splitting people so definately - it's not like there's been a shortage of people wanting to play Halo online for a good few years now

And what's the problem with the graphics on Snowbound ? The interiors are amazing, the self shadowing, lighting, the way you can watch your feet and run backwards watching the snow kick up and the footprints - You lot are MENTAL for slagging it.

Can we instigate some form of punishment for the next person to use the expression "HD Halo2" - That's what we've been playing since the 360 launched - This is something else entirely.

I've been trying to upload a few of the films i saved tonight but it's having none of it. It would be good to see the game from you guys prospective, so if any ones got any saved be sure to send them my way! I watched some random yanks game and it's amazing to see how differently it can be played.

The fact that it is HD makes the aiming more precise, whilst using the BR you can see the small dot appear when your shooting at the head. Plus the fact that it feels smoother to control helps.

I love grenades now they really have the throwing arch nailed it's much more natural. I tend to find i don't dualwield as much, that was untill crisp was walking all over me with the new brute guns, so i tried it as well and yeah they're pretty lethal. I dig the snipe and run to it pretty much everytime as it's a challenge to use now. The laser kicks ass and it probably the most satisfying to use when it connects, instant kill ftw!

I feel sorry for people experiencing this for the first time as there are so many good players out there it's hard to get a good game when you're new. It would have been great if they just gave us a little bit more control over the options. Big Team Battle and custom games would have been helpfull.

All in all it's more of the same but with more bells, knobs, whistles and dogs dagglys on. The grx look great and i bet the single player will blow our socks off

had 2 more rounds today and still found my ass kicked all over the place i reckon it must be the connection, because i remember i wasn't too crappy at Halo 2 MP. well, i managed to get at least some sniper kills every now and then

however, if competitive play will be all Bungie has in store for MP then this will be truly disappointing.

Anyone else find the voice comms very backwards? I mean why the **** do we have to press a button to say something? Don't see why they can't just leave the comms on like all the other Live games.

you've always had to press a button... though if you're stomping about in a small squad (particularly on big team games) you can talk to your squad members without talking to the other guys on your team which makes it perfect for coordinating attacks.

me and my boys discuss what we;re gonna do using the proximity chat.

then i press team talk and chat to the other squad and tell them "let's go!!!!!!!"

coordination = death and you're not filling the headsets of your team up with useless info.

Well in the heat of the battle, you don't really have the time to move Spartan, aim, shoot and press the dpad to tell the baddie to eat your lead all at the same time.

Hope they have some sort of option to keep voice on in the final build.
