seriously,it's taken them 6 years to implement that and what a difference it makes.Also,love,love,love the bubble shield.You can be really tricky with it if you know what your doing i.e not just sitting in your bubble like a dick!

I dread to think how much I'll have played this by the time the beta ends. According to my stats I've played 46 games in three days, and on Halo 2 I've only played 256 matches in three years. At the rate I'm going I'll have played more online Halo 3 than I did Halo 2 in, what, 15 days?

ahhh,well that would be giving it away.Figure it out man.

The portable grav lifts are ****ing hilarious.Having a firefight with this guy last night,and he's like right up in my face.So a drop the grav lift as i'm running back and he runs straight into and gets thrown way over my head,which gives me enough time to shoot him down.Bungie are gods

It ends on 10th June. They extended it by four days because of the difficulties in downloading it. And it's not like this is a surprise, being that they announced the end date at the same time as the start date.

I want to ensure I put a few bullets in your face for calling the bubble shield 'nancy' hehe. It has saved my MJOLNIR coated life many a time over the last few days.

Oh, and the mines are far from 'nancy'... playing a team single bomb game last night and just before I get killed by 3 assaulting enemies I use my last sliver of life to drop a mine beside my corpse, first guy misses it, second guys sees it and avoids, but 3rd guy carrying the bomb gets too close to it and BOOM all 3 dead and I get a triple kill from the grave now, if you ask me that is SPARTAN hardness if ever I seen it... Leonidas would have been proud

rest assured mate. i've emailed Bungie my wishlist and threatened them not buy Halo 3 if they wont include a fullscreen co-op mode!

Don't worry it is gonna be there.

I'm still loving this, even with 3 maps it is amazing.
Just did a great CTF game where I threw and grav lift onto the flag, grabbed it and flew away into the 1st floor of the buildings in valhalla.

It further expands on the huge variety of ways in which to use the items/weapons and map around you. When you improvise and pull something off the feeling is immense, it used to be just a case of a cool grenade through a window or around a corner or even just shooting an explosive barrel as an enemy passes, but now with the items the scope for what you can pull off is fantastic.

Having the function of being able to save these cool moments is really just the icing on the cake, I really can't wait til september, if I'm having this much fun with what is essentially a demo, I can't even begin to think how much fun the full game will be.


Gerry had a good grav lift moment too when he was escaping with the flag and he threw the Grav down and flew into the air to dodge a laser. Genious!
Also in the same game he defended me by throwing a sheild in the enemies line of fire as I ran to the drop spot.

again the Battle Rifle is the crappiest weapon in MP. anyone managed to do a kill with it? i couldn't. its slow burst fire doesn't seem to have any deadly punch at all. and with no alternative full auto or single fire mode for efficient sniping it's pretty much redundant for me.

aiming and actually hitting opponents while they move and jump around is still a pain in the ass for me. even with a shotgun in close combat i seem to be awful. only melee and sniper attacks get me some kills right now

I've had numerous kills with the battle rifle. Its a mid-range weapon which relies on you catching people in open ground if they are fully sheilded or shooting into an on-going combat.

Yep me too - very useful at midrange and much better than that ****ty covenant equivalent !

Some superb moments there playing 1 flag CTF on highground.
