With the codes, is it like Gamer Tags that each one is individual so if I go for R05 and its already taken then I cant use it either?

Nah I'd imagine loads of peeps can share a tag - might do something if you've got two people on the same team with the same tag but chances must be slim ?

2600 combo's and how many copies of crackdown I'm guessing it's not that slim a chance especially with folks picking the likes of N64 and Z80

The name code is a good idea because you'll be able to call out randoms by their code without needing to describe them as

This is going to sound really shallow considering discussion should all be about the gameplay, but I don't suppose any of Marty's Halo 3 score has made it in to the Beta?

I should point something out, the graphics are quite jaggy round the edges.

The sound of distant gunfire is brilliant.

The sniper is slower to fire and you can't rinse four bullets as quick as you could in Halo 2.

It still suffers the Halo 2 syndrome of you take less bullets to kill than you have to use to kill someone else.
