I think its because Microsoft and Turn10 still own the copyright to the products, even though you still made the design.

Phew, sorted that heavy weight race series out at lunch. Lighter wheels and some aero downforce on full whack helped me out enough to stuff the Ferrari in the corners although every time we got to a straight, he went past me. Got a nice 25K credits for completing the prooving grounds, and a lovely looking modern dodge charger for winning the series. What a battle. Worth it though. Otherwise this would be over in a few days if I just boshed everything up a few classes.

I?m really loving the endurance race series!!!

With all the crash settings on, tire wear, fuel usage and medium AI difficulty; it take away the bore of doing the same lap over and over again, because it requires full concentration and pit strategy (yes the AI go in as well!)

I did the B Class endurance yesterday, I got rammed off the track so I pitted in early on lap 6, and bear in mind that anymore than one pit stop and you?ll struggle to win the race. Because I pitted in early I had to take the risk and try to survive the remaining 19 laps without going in again, only to find I ran out of fuel on the second to last lap and 10 seconds ahead in first place.

Could you get around that by ebaying for hours of work involved in creating the design and not for the actual design itself?

I always liked the idea that someone could potentially make a little cash from their efforts for this. They put together a good design, gift it on a car and lock the design on it. Each design has a number and is only sold in limited quantities. Then the buyer would have something worth owning. Hell, I wouldn't mind if someone asked for a small amount of cash for the fruits of their labour. MS is doing this all over Marketplace anyway, Bullet Witches skins or Dead Rising suits anyone? They're just pissed that mere mortal gamers are actually making something from it.

Of all the elements to Forza, it's only the Auction House that I'm disappointed in, partly by design and partly by the efforts of it's users. The method of bidding on cars is absolutely ridiculous and the number of blatantly ripped car designs is a joke.

I am using the Mustang GT500 in the Big Engine (V8 only, Amateur) race series and its a nightmare to keep in a straight line. Obviously I upgraded it lots before entering which in retrospect probably wasn't the best idea in the world for a car that already isn't the best in the bends. Its a serious, serious handful around Laguna Seca and its actually quite frustrating!

I tuned (or adjusted to stop the confusion) it a bit and its helped, but as Dom said in Fast and the Furious, its got so much torque the chassis twisted off the line!

Finally done all the Time Trials. Now, to finish the Arcade part and then go for the Career.

A question, how do you go about tuning the cars in this?

Put a little a little downforce, change the gear settings, change the tire pressure? Or just change the gear settings and off you go?

This is my first Forza game, so i'm feeling a little bit lost really.


And a nit-pick really, but why, i am wondering, did Turn10 put the third stop light in the F40 and F50? Have you guys noticed yet?

If i can remember, none of them has third stop lights in reality. Not whinning, just wondering about it.

Finally did the last time trial around nurburgring. Took atleast twenty goes...

Reached lvl 30 in Career today as well but it's really pissing me off at the moment. TVR's are nasty sods.
