Also if there was some way of setting up private/group leaderboards too, that'd be nice (not that I've even been into the Multiplayer menu apart from the auction house).

You can filter the leaderboards to just include people on your friends list, if that's any use to you.

I am getting "Disc Unreadable" errors trying to load a New York track up. Anyone else having loading problems? The disc is perfect btw.

Mines fine so far but there's loads of people with similar problems, been seing it on various forums.
There's a thread almost 60 pages long on the Official Forza forums full of people who's machine wont even play the game, whos game crashes & game has killed their 360.

Just checked and PC World are doing a web price of £79.99 for the official wheel, so I can collect it tomorrow morning unless anyone knows of somewhere doing it cheaper?

Might rig up a stand thing for it so I can use it in the living room. That's my Sunday gone then!

good job there ! I still can't to the tournaments, I keep getting a message that there is some sort of problem with my router ! I have to check it out soon.
terrible times to race though, it's cleary for the americans, let us know if you could beat them !

Has anyone got to Level 50 in their region yet? I am wondering what will happen when you get there. You can change region, but looking at the requirements to buy (European and North American) cars, it looks like I would need to complete the game three times to get every car in the game. For example I don't get car X until I am Level X in Europe. I presume hitting Level 50 in Asia wont unlock every car in other territories too..


Anyone know for sure?

Loving the game but man I miss some of those classic tracks from Forza. Alpine Ring was one of my favourites to race on and its not there anymore... please tell me there'll be more tracks in download content?

Other than that this game is gravy. I cant understand why reviews said the game had no soul or style, I got overtaken by some guy in a race to the death over the weekend and on the rear of his car he had Stewie Griffin and the slogan "I brake for nobody" which I believe was a reference to the opening of Spaceballs.

I laughed hard and he was a really decent driver, didnt side-swipe just flat out clean racing. Loved it.

I've just got gold at the final Exhibition race (The 'Ring), seventeen minutes of heart punding action, took the lead at the start but never pulled away by more than about six seconds. Real edge of the seat stuff, racing doesn't get anymore tense.

Finally... after saving up for for a good few events I scraped enough credits together to buy the Ferrari F430 I had my eye on from last week. Got it in white and immediately planted a sweet paint job on it, very nice got the upgrades I want spec'd out starting with an engine re-fit. Gonna change the stock F430 engine for a F430 GT 4.0 litre V8 monster then get it tuned to perfection. Handling on her is a little stiff at the moment but with some fine power tuning and a wee weight reduction am sure I can tame her, hehe. Aint had this much fun tricking out and testing my creations since Gran Turismo 2, brilliant.

Just got a "disc unreadable" error. It's not left the drive since I got it The track disappeared and turned into sky.... It was when I tried to take a photo that it borked. Seems ok now I've rebooted.

well a gaming first for me today, just completed the first 45 lap endurance race, something i could never be bothered with on anything else.

had a mild panic when i got rear ended around lap 33 and ended up in a wall, pitted in for some repairs whcih cost me 44k of my winnings but at least i finished.

got into a real rythmn round the track in my little MX5 and its amazing how you think you have it nailed then suddenly get a super smooth lap which is a second better than you've done before.

hardly touched DiRT as this is so good.

Only started playing this on Saturday as my 360 broke the day the game was released but, for the first 4 or 5 hours, I really didn't like it (and truth be told, couldn't come to terms with the handling) and was contemplating selling it. Soon as I got in the MR2 however, something clicked and since then have been really enjoying it. Looking forward to getting into the custom paint jobs, auctions and tuning side of things.

excellent choice, I've bought one last week, upgraded it till a maxed out S class, and now I need a second one to upgrade to a monster !
I didn't even think of swapping the engine !!

damn, I need more spare time, I've already asked at work for a few days off but no chance ...
I want to race it online, I want to tune cars, paint cars, upgrade cars and I want to finish the single player ! I need more spare time !
