Sounds nice man... I wish there was more options when re-fitting the engine rather than having like one alternative to the stock.

And what is going on with people having an S980 Renault Clio that can horse a top end Ferrari and Tommy Kaira Skyline off the line then maintain that for a race... surely if a clio went that fast the bonet and bumper would fly off from the strain?? LOL.

The HKS Evolution is the ultimate Class S machine online, as far as i'm concerned.

Sorry if it's been said but what does torque mean?
        and
        front?

Torque is a measure of the twisting power of the engine. Torque is basically directly related to acceleration. The better the torque, the more twisting power the engine has, the better your car will accelerate.

As for 'front', not sure what that refers to... anyone?

If I'm correct the times won't be uploaded when you go online ....

Bah. Thought as much. I could either stay in and race upstairs but without online, or go out. So I'm going out. Good to know though.

That one gave me the most trouble too. I spent 30k on an auction car and had to throw 50k's worth of upgrades at it just to get the thing to be able to compete. As soon as I got gold I auctioned it and got 52k. Glad to see the back of that evil, evil thing!

Seems the heavyweight is the one causing the most problems... I have still to compete in it. Am waiting on my mate lending me his Bentley GT so I can gold it then give him it back... he is making me give him my uber tuned Ferrari as insurance though so he gets it back, hahaha.

I am Lv.32 now and the races are getting longer, and the race requirements are getting interesting too. Just completed the 450bhp Championship which was great, I thought the capped power races would be a pain but they have been a breeze so far. As in real life, the best upgrade for any car is a decent set of rubber, and its no different in FM2.

I have three races which I cannot complete at the moment. V10 cars, and two involving Dodge Vipers. I have won a R4 Viper, but its getting hammered by the (amazing sounding) Carerra GT in 10s, and stonked by some A or S Class Viper in the specific races. And one of the races is in NYC. I hate that track.

                    Still playing though

i agree, put some good tyres, do the weight reductions (massive effect on handling and acceleration) then maybe do the brakes.

can turn an ok car into something way better for not too much cash.

It's just a shame that just putting decent tyres on raises the PI so much. Still the first change I make though.

I've not been using the race rubber because of the PI. Street rubber though.

I haven't even modded a car yet to be honest I wouldn't know where to start.

Managed to finally get to level 40 last night so can concentrate on finishing some of the lower speced class's now

have to say though that after playing DiRT it took me a few laps to adjust to the handling and braking model

Front I believe is referring to how much power is going through the front wheels, in some AWD cars you can adjust if the power is split 50/50 or 60/40 etc, not sure if you can do it in the game though.

If you buy the expensive diff for an 4WD car you can do that
