how could this game get such high ratings? the control and handling of the cars lack precision and proper feedback of the track's condition. especially braking is horrible since you brake almost instantly at full force - no matter how far you press the trigger. worst of all you can't brake and steer at the same time, let alone get into a clean drift before a corner. that's all taking a lot of fun from the game.
technically Dirt doesn't even come close to Rallysport Challenge 2 on the old Xbox. sound-wise it's ok, but the almost all time visible pop-in of objects and textures is truly awful.
i think i will complete the career mode, then sell the game and wait for RallySport Challenge 3, which hopefully will see the light of day sometime.Comment
