the jabra i got has worked with everything so far. BT135 i think

yeah mine works, but apparently I sound low according to some US dude I came across today. He said he had to turn his master volume down to hear me. I checked my input level in the XMB Accessory settings to find my talking only got me about 6 or so little bars on '5' volume setting. Pish.

Is the lead long on that? I have one of these and the usb lead is extremely short.

not sure on the exact length but its about 4-5 feet (might be slightly longer)

Had a quick go on this by setting up a local game with only me on the map to get used to the controls. Which i must say is excellent!

Then i tried to get online with it, and i cant find a server that isn't either a) Full or b) kicking me off it straight away by admin

Are you sure it's nothing to do with the fact that Americans SHOUT throughout EVERY single online game ever? If they aren't shouting then it sounds like the mic is IN their mouth.

Appalling generalisation but it's not far from the mark.

Has anyone else complained about volume? If not, are you sure you're wearing the headset properly, with the wired 360 headset I've known people to move the mic up high when talking away from the game and they forget to put it back down, it's amazing the volume difference just a small mic placement adjustment can make.

Last night every single game I tried to join came back saying "server full" even if it reported up to 10 free spaces on the filtered search ???

In the end I just set one up and it filled up quickstyle

Isn't it just like Gears? It's such a popular game, but the time the server list has popped up, people have jumped into the games and it needs refreshing?

D'you know what I mean? When a gears ranked match says 4 out of 8, you go to join but you lose connection to the host, because it's filled up in the time since you refreshed it.

Aye but the list populates REALLY quickly and after about 5 knockbacks I was picking the first game I saw with > 5 spaces and still couldn't get in.

No doubt it is just down to the initial popularity and hopefully will have calmed down a bit by next week.

What is the set-up like for getting unranked friends games?? Tempted to pick this up tonight instead of Madden 08 and get playing it for a while now that bioshock is a couple hours away from completion.
