and Luigi all 242. The final star is the easiest you can't even die its just like a little bonus, its a bit disappointing but getting a little bonus for playing through such an amazing game twice isn't too bad seeing how I would have done its anyway. At the end of the level Mail Toad mails a picture to your Wii message board, Mario's pic has him, Peach and some Luma and with Luigi its him, Rosalina and the Toad brigade.
Its such a wonderful amazing game. Certainly my game of the year maybe even decade. Its seems I have to add another Mario game to my list of best games ever.

I love SMG!
I was up to 44 stars a few weeks ago but I sold my PAL Wii to a friend as he wanted one and I wanted a NTSC one so I got such a good price I made ?10 out of the deal and was able to get another from VG+ with 2 game and Wii play (for the extra remote)
Only on 7 stars but I got Super Paper Mario too and have nearly finished that so its been eating up my free time.
Its tough as I just got Xbox live and am always on Halo and COD4.
too many games and not enough time!hahaha

What i didn't realize at first though was that spinning near a buggering shell helps Mario to grab it - whether it is flying towards him midair or moving rapidly on the floor - which makes this challange so much easier. After figuring that out i did it without the slightest of trouble.

SMG has rekindled my passion for videogames after a while of drifting away from gaming.
Sublime visuals(for a wii game),sounds and most importantly gameplay.
Only just started playing but already the attention to detail makes this a standout game.
Yet again nintendo leads the way.Last edited by JB@XL; 20-01-2008, 12:56.

That's where I’m torn...
Usually with Mario titles i love to delve into them here and there and when i do that 10minutes or hour or so is an incredible experience. With other games that are heavily story-driven that 'i need to play it now' factor, as you mention, is immense and pulls me back without letting me play anything else in-between...
However, Galaxy has been different for me. It is the first Mario title that has had me gripped - ever so tightly - from beginning to end. Every area is so unique, so magical and so unpredictable that I could not resist its allure. Galaxy pulled me in, almost addictively, into its world and charm.
In short, Galaxy says ‘just one more time!’ more then anything I’ve experienced beforeLast edited by Adam Stone; 05-12-2007, 18:01.

Well I just finished it with 120 stars and
unlocked Luigi but I could have sworn Rosalina said I had unlocked another galaxy but had to do the Bowser bit again first. But where's my new galaxy? Did I miss what she was saying? Luigi seems to be quite tough because of that skid he has. I don't think I'll delve into that soon.
Excellent game. One of my favourite games ever.

But with this game i just don't have it..no idea why though, i mean it's the best nintendo game in recent memory! Maybe i should play with someone in coop mode. That any good? Does it add to the experience?

I mention the Co-op (called CO-Star) briefly in my review - and it is fun playing alongside a friend or partner.
However if you are struggling to get into it by yourself then Co-op may not aid that.
Actually... on second thought, maybe witnessing someone else's enjoyment will evoke your own. Or maybe it'll allow you to see things you wouldnt otherwise... Or maybe it will help you to relax a little, allowing you to simply just absorb the sights.
I think once you experience a few more star challanges it will start to grab you a little more. Maybe you are trying too hard to be amazed that you are missing the subtle greatness!
