Team Tokyo was working on new original IP until Miyamoto drafted them to do Galaxy. They probably continue on that now.

Is anybody else in panic mode ... once i'm done with Galaxy and have all the stars etc what's coming for me to play :/ No new Mario announced obviously and no new Zelda.. sigh. Need SOMETHING apart from Mario Kart to look forward to now.

Apparently once you get every star in the game you can play as luigi, and once you have 120 stars with Luigi there is a 121st star

so I think you will be playing for quite some time yet.

I've just put the first planet's beautiful music (the one with the three bunnies) as the ring tone on my phone *beams a beaming smile*

I did notice the windy valley ( something like that, the one with the gusting winds and the petal thingies ) music is the "ooo aarrr is ambrosia" tune from the advert.

Anyone else taking their time with this one? It's too good to rush through, the last 3D Mario game was 5 years ago, and the one before that was another 5 years ago!

I'm clearing galaxy by galaxy as I go along at the mo (as much as can be done of course) - taking it nice & slowly to soak it all in.

I've not played it for over a week now. I'm waiting for my original version to turn up from VG+. The wait is killing me. I've been selling it all week at work too.

I would've said no. I can't think of any test I've ever taken where a 'A' required 100&#37;.

the purple coin one on the gold leaf galaxy - those jumps have to be super pinpoint accurate up that tower - one of the jumps i spent AGES trying to do then tried a backflip then shake the wiimote to spin to get higher.. just made it on that run and got the star

The purple coin challanges are excellent. They really are.

They show just how spot on the game design is, relying on the player's skill without any cheeky tricks. If you fall, you fall because of your own doing... Rarely is it fault of the camera.

Mario Galaxy is an insight into masterful design.

Also, I've mentioned it before and i cant help but mention it again... But the music is a step up from almost everything else ive heard in a videogame, or a film for that matter. Just listening to some tracks now and it is simply amazing.

Agree totally. The camera has killed me once actually, but if I'm ever given the choice between an easy and hard route in SMG, I'll do the hard one because it's never unfair.

All the purple coins are together on disapearing/revolving squares, some are in midair too, most i managed after a few atempt was about 10 coins before i died, you have to take the right route and time it all to perfection. There is no time to think.

you will probabaly start to cry its so hard.

I'm 80 stars in now and the difficulty curve just seems to have rocketed.
