oh my days just got to 80 stars and opened up '

the gate ' .. was curious as to what this strange level was then i ended up getting a red star and was flying !! pure mario 64 flashbacks - kickass black and red outfit and a new tune to fly about to. Also opened the very top garden lookout .. some very sexy galaxies in there

.. ended up playing more after that and got to 90 - as much as I want to pace myself I simply can't - constantly wanting to see what amazing level is next as its just SO varied - stunning.

Well I started playing this evening. I couldn't possibly be more in love with this game.

Best platform game I played in years and years . I don't think any other corp is Capable of making a game with this much creativity, brilliance and sheer charm Andd OMG if the music isn’t utterly brilliant much like the game .

Nice to see the NCL magic is alive and well in Mario again

Just like Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and Mario 64. And rightly so. Nintendo have created something special here...

You're asking the wrong person mate . I still say Sonic Adv is the best 3d platform game I've played .
What I can say is this is the best 3D Mario game ,and worth getting the Wii for alone .

Its just puts such a smile on your face , and the music is ace !

I think this is a 100&#37; nailed on future classic that will be talked about in the same way as SM64, which previously occupied a slot all of its own as by far the outstanding 3d platformer.

It really is... plus, the fact the Wii can play Zelda: Twilight Princess and for an extra 4 pounds, Super Mario World, doesn't hurt either! 3 of the best games ever made (in my opinion, anyway... not sure what people think of Z:TW) on one machine. Not bad!

THIS is the Game of the year....in the finest year of videogame releases, that I've experienced. and I've been playing games for 24 years.

Effortlessly brilliant.

Stunning - played it for a couple of hours but immediately it has pretty much eclipsed every other game I have played this year.

I truly believe this will be what people compare the next Mario too.

Twilight Princess is excellent. Just falls a little at the end, but still a great - fantastic even - experience. I can't help but consider it a Gamecube title tho. After having both versions i felt it played better on the Gamecube, more natural. That's why i reviewed that version. Still plays dreamingly on Wii mind!

As for Mario Galaxy. I think it is in a different league. Galaxy belongs next to Ocarina of Time, Mario 64 and all the other greats. Nintendo have a modern classic on their hands here. It is never anything less then an absolute joy to play.

My girlfriend - who loves the Wii but usually dislikes 'normal games' - has fallen in love with it too. I feel a little envious of her daughter tho, Chloe, this is her first proper Mario experience. Can you imagine playing this when you were five years old? My goodness... I wish i could go back to experience that.

I've played some Super Mario World with her (also just got her a Pink Yoshi teddy *smiles*) but we haven't played it properly. Galaxy though, she's been sitting there watching totally in awe, smiling, laughting and jumping in excitment. Heh, bless her. Makes my little heart jump it does.

and fook me its hard lol some of these missions make rocky road look like a walk in the park imo

Just cant seem to put this one down, each time you get a star you always say "ah just one more".

Dusty Road galaxy is ****ing superb, the way you move from apple to apple hitting the cores to make a worm crawl between apples is a stroke of genius and had me grinning from ear to ear

Me! It hate it! Chubby Italian Plumber, going around different galaxies, taking mushrooms and generally jumping around everywhere. Gimme Two Worlds anyday over this*
