You can only access the extra galaxy by beating the game again with Luigi.

Just one level that either character can do. It has nothing to do with Princess Rosetta (but you may need to beat bowser after getting the second 120 stars. Not sure on that one). To get to the last galaxy you take the green launch star and there is an extra green Luma there who will fire you off.

I didn't mean the speed of mario. I meant the way the game itself played, jetting around and shooting water and what not.

Thats not really true, half of the stuff you had to do to get stars and blue coins in sunshine was within a strict time limit. You actualy had to be quick, the game wasnt slow at all really.

The best bits of sunshine were the platforming sections with the capella soundtrack. They're kind of a precursor to galaxy anyway and some were insanely tough

I actually really liked Sunshine. I find it difficult to get back into, but when i was playing it for the first time i thought it was a lot of fun to just jump aimlessly and splash things. I also liked the camera control, which felt just as vital as controlling Mario himself - which i liked.

However it isn't in the same league as the classic Mario titles whereas Galaxy severely is. Sunshine was also a huge departure from the classic Mario universe we all know and love. It didn't really 'feel' like a Mario game, aside those glorious Retro stages. It's ironic that Galaxy, based the furthest away from the Mushroom Kingdom - feels exactly like a Mario game - maybe even more so then Mario 64.

My only problem with Galaxy is how quickly I seem to be flying through it! I feel like I've hardly played it (three times since Thursday last week) and I'm at nearly 40 stars already!

Thankfully the footie is about to start so I can take a break for the rest of the evenin....wait, what? It's 22:30 already? What the hell happened to the last three hours???

Yes it was utter tripe and just so boring , the only good thing about it was a few of the boss battles and the still to this day beautiful water effects
Still , Mario Galaxy more than makes up for it .

I thought the main set of stars in Super Mario Sunshine were quite decent and I loved the fludd mechanic but the hidden stars unlocked by the blue coin collectathon? NOT COOL!

When SMS was released and the backlash begun I thought it was because the game wasn't really like Super Mario 64. I wondered if people would have complained if they'd made it too much like SM64...
